What is Flink's accident policy?

Accident process fundamentals

  • In the unfortunate event of an accident or injury, seek medical attention, document the incident and report it in the Workforce app.

    • This is also fundamental in case the insured person is unable to work.

  • Failing to report may lead to personal financial liabilities and difficulties in obtaining compensation or support.

  • By promptly reporting accidents, you protect yourself, ensure access to medical coverage, and contribute to the improvement of safety measures for all our employees.

  • Even if you are not at fault for the accident, it's important to report the accident in the Workforce app. This allows us to inform our insurance providers about the incident.

  • Insurance coverage for Flink employees:

    • As a Flink employee, you're insured for any 3rd party damages during your shift.

    • This coverage extends to commuting to and from work.

    • Employees are required to report any accident in the Workforce app and providing as much detail as possible.

Guidelines to follow after an accident

  • Document the accident: take photos of the accident scene, injuries, and any damages caused. If there were witnesses, try to obtain their contact information, as their testimonies may be valuable in the future.

  • Seek medical attention: if you sustain any injuries, seek medical attention immediately. Keep records of medical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans, as these documents will be essential for any insurance claims or legal proceedings. Inform the attending doctor that it is a work injury.

  • Follow Fink’s accident reporting process: after having an accident, you must fill out the accident report in the Workforce app so we can assist you with the administrative part. We have a dedicated team to help you navigate through this step once you submit it.

Note:

Incomplete forms may prolong the processing time, so it's crucial to accurately fill out all required fields.
