Our Onboarding process is a great opportunity to fully integrate you as a Flinker into the team. You'll learn about what your day-to-day will look like, who your Hub Manager will be, and what it's like to be part of Flink!
Rider
The Rider onboarding is important for the integration of Flinkers with regard to their future tasks, but also with regard to their integration into the team. Proper onboarding ensures that you are prepared for your job as quickly and as well as possible.
You will sign your contract with Flink.
You will receive a “welcome” email with important information afterward.
You will do an onboarding shift in the hub and an onboarding training on EduMe. The process is as follows:
The day starts with a “Welcome” (introduction).
Then you will learn everything you need to know as a Rider.
Safety in the hub is addressed.
After that, you will be trained in food safety.
You will then be assigned to an experienced Rider Buddy.
The first orders are delivered together with your Rider Buddy, who explains and shows the handover process between Picker and Rider and how a successful handover to the customer is performed.
The Hub Manager will teach you topics such as punching in/out and how to provide your availability so that the schedules can be done.
Lastly, you will complete a quiz to evaluate the topics covered during your onboarding day.
Congratulations! You are finally ready for regular shifts.
