Understanding your Flink payslip

Your payslip is divided into three main sections:

This is what a payslip looks like:

1. Persönliche/Organisatorische Daten (Personal Data/Organizational Data)

This section is located in the upper-right-hand corner of your payslip and details personal information such as your personal number/Employee ID, tax class, social security number and tax ID.

2. Main Section

The main section of your payslip is divided into three parts (a,b,c,d) and breaks down the deductions and bonuses made to your end payment.

Entgeltbestandteile (Wage Type)

This breaks down all of the payments you received throughout the time period including your payment per hours worked, bonuses, vacation, and sick leave.

Bruttoentgelt (Gross remuneration)

This shows your total amount of pay for the month before taxes and other deductions are made.

Gesetzliche Abzuge (Statutory deductions)

Shows the statutory deductions for the month which include: income tax (Lohnsteuer), health insurance (Gesetzliche versicherung), pension insurance, unemployment insurance (Arbeitslosungversicherung), and long-term care insurance (Rentenversicherung).

Netto (income after taxes)

This is your total income after all deductions have been made.

Be- und Abzuge (Additions and deductions)

This shows any other deductions or additions made to your pay not already shown above such as the once-off deduction of the Rider gear deposit or your tips.

3. Zahlungen (Payments)

This section presents the final payment you will receive. Your bank details such as your IBAN and final payment amount are presented in this section.
