This article will provide you the complete process of handling organic products, from reception to picking, as well as with important information for when your Hub gets into an authority control from ÖkoP Zertifizierungs GmbH.

Receiving process
The Flowtify check for organic products must always be carried out upon delivery. You can find the Flowtify check in the DE Delivery check > Bio Products section on Flowtify.
In the following tutorial you can see how to perform this check on the app.
Organic products should be marked on the delivery invoice with the name and address of the recipient (Flink Hub), the organic reference - always starting with "BIO...!" (e.g. "BIO Rindergulasch") -and the code number of the inspection body (e.g. DE-ÖKO-006):
4. The labelling of the items must be complete, be labeled as bio, and match the information on the delivery bill.
5. The results from the inbound control of bio products must be documented, e.g. on a note saying “Bio OK” on the printed delivery bill. Additionally, please enter the delivery note's number in flowtify as well, especially for the Rewe deliveries, which are not on paper.
6. Disposable gloves should be worn when working with organic products. This is to avoid contamination with non-organic products. Likewise, these items should be stored separately from non-organic products.
Storage of unpacked organic products
Unpackaged organic products are to be stored separately from conventional products in IFCO boxes. You also need to print this sticker and stick it on the corresponding shelves.
Picking BIO products
If the customer orders organic products, please make sure to not pick any non-organic products instead.

Are all organic products labeled as organic?
Can the organic check be shown in the delivery check?
Are organic products stored separately from non-organic products?
Are unpackaged organic products packed in separate packaging when picked?
Are the organic products checked for quality when they arrive?
Is there ground clearance (no boxes of organic produce on floor)?
Are all the placements for bio products labeled with magnets/stickers as BIO placements?
Are organic products stored in a separate shelf in coldroom?
