Internal Mobility Guidelines

With a commitment to get 1% better each day, these guidelines are here to guide Flinkers on how they can apply for open roles, how their application will be treated, and what the process will look like.

Application Process

Please refer to our career site to screen for open positions. When you wish to apply for an open role please take the following steps:

  1. Apply to the vacancy with an up-to-date CV. You should also at this point discuss with your manager (if you have not already done so) that you are applying for an internal transfer. Flinker application will be prioritized by the TA Team.

  2. TA will reach out to arrange a chat to understand motivations, and skill set and to outline the process. It is important to note that a judgment will be made with the hiring manager to decide if there is/is not a fit for the role based on your skills and capabilities. You will receive feedback after the initial screening.

  3. If you successfully passed the first step of the process additional interviews with the hiring manager and team will be followed. This is an important step to ensure that you fully understand the role, that you are a match for the requirements, and also to ensure that we have an unbiased hiring process.

  4. In the case where you are fit for the role, you can expect an offer at the relevant level for that team. If you are not you will get the opportunity to book some time with TA to go through feedback on the process to help you in future applications.

  5. The start date will be based on several factors but you can expect there to be a transition period and not an immediate move. This is to ensure that the current team that you are part of can backfill your current role without loss of capacity.
