The process and requirements for visas depend on your citizenship and country of origin. In order to receive this EZB, please provide People Team your following information with your Ticket:
1. Current Registered Address and official date of move in (DD/MM/YYYY)
2. Your Qualifications from German higher education institutes or check Anabin whether your qualifications from your home countries are accepted.

ā¹ļø Common Visa Types
EU Blue Card (Blaue Karte EU - Ā§ 18g)
Definition: Visa for Highly Skilled Workers who surpass salary threshold (ca. 48,300ā¬/Year as of 2025 and 50,700ā¬/Year as of 2026) and obtain qualifications from higher education in Germany or comparable qualifications from third countries.

For exceptional case: if you are 45 years old or older, please always check the special salary threshold and pension contribution.
Benefits: The EU Blue Card offers numerous privileges for immigrants and their families. For example, early permanent residency allows potential applicants to plan their future in Germany for the long term: a permanent settlement permit can be obtained after just 33 months of residence. If German language skills at level B1 can be demonstrated, a settlement permit can be granted after just 21 months. [Based on Immigration Laws, 2024]
Prerequisite/requirements:
āļøExceptions
1) Nationals of Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America may enter Germany without requiring a visa, and must subsequently apply for the EU Blue Card at the immigration authority that is responsible for the place where they live within three months. They may take up employment once the EU Blue Card has been issued.
2) Individuals who have held an EU Blue Card in another EU Member State for at least 12 months may enter Germany without requiring a visa. They have to apply for an EU Blue Card in Germany at the immigration authority that is responsible for the place where they live within one month of entering the country.
3) Individuals who are already living in Germany and hold another residence title may file an application for the EU Blue Card with the immigration authority competent for their place of residence.
4) Individuals who hold student visas in Germany cannot directly apply for the EU Blue Card without a complete qualification from higher Education in Germany OR a recognized qualification by the Central Office of Foreign Education, if from a third country.
