Here are the most important guidelines for bag checks:
Extensive person controls (e.g. patting of employees) are inadmissible.
Bag checks at the entrance/exit are in principle permissible, if:
There is a concrete suspicion of theft;
Regular bag checks in order to prevent theft and all employees are treated equally.
This means that you are not allowed to check every employee when and where you want.
