→ Responsible for the management of an entire region in Germany.

Direct interface between HQ, cluster leads and hubs
Lead and control the overall operations and performance in the assigned regions
In Germany, Flink currently has 2 Regional Managers, one responsible for northeast Germany and one for southwest Germany. Each Regional Manager is responsible for 2-6 Area Managers.
Area Manager (Cluster Lead)
→ Responsible for managing multiple hubs in a city or cities.
Directing and controlling overall operations and performance in assigned hubs.
Provide leadership, coordination and training to Hub Managers.
Direct interface between the Regional Manager and the Hubs.
Each Cluster Lead is responsible for one area (cluster) within a region. Each Cluster Lead is responsible for 10-15 Hubs.
Hub Manager
→ Management of one or more hubs.
Hiring of all hub personnel, including shift leads.
Training hub personnel on all major systems and workflows.
Execution of shift scheduling in collaboration with HQ.
Control Hub productivity and key success metrics (e.g. delivery time, post and pre-order issues).
Implement and control new work processes, systems or policies (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety).
Actively participate in the Hub (e.g., during peak hours, as a Shift Lead, inbound, or vacation replacement).
→ Each Hub Manager is responsible for one or more hubs. They are responsible for all employees of the assigned hubs.
Shift Lead/ Ops Associate + (Ops+)
→ Responsible for managing the early/late shifts.
Active participation in the hub (e.g. picking, inbounding).
Performing or coordinating daily checks (fresh, BBD, temperature check, etc.).
Coordinating Ops Associates and Riders during the shift.
Direct customer contact when there are challenges with deliveries.
Perform and coordinate inbounding, outbounding, corrections and refilling on a first in, first out (FiFo) basis.
The Shift Lead/ Ops Associate + is responsible for managing a hub during a shift. They are responsible for the Riders and Ops Associates during a shift.
Ops Associate
→ Performing basic tasks in the hub
Picking of the orders
Performing daily checks as instructed (fresh, BBD, low stock check, etc.).
Perform inbounding, outbounding, corrections and refilling according to the FiFo principle (First in, First out).
Subject to direction from Hub Manager and Shift Leads/ Ops Associate during shift +.
Rider
Delivery of customer orders
Operate the Workforce App to ensure smooth delivery.
Assist in the Hub as directed by Shift Lead or Ops Associate +, such as receiving merchandise or restocking shelves.
Subject to direction from Hub Manager and Shift Leads/ Ops Associate + during shift.
