šŸš› Transport Equipment: Go Live - Thursday 7th (9am)

We’re rolling out a new feature to help us keep better track of our transport equipment.

Currently, equipment tracking is only done by Lekkerland drivers, and hub staff just have to agree with their count. The problem? When equipment isn't returned, Flink is charged for the financial loss. Because we haven't had a centralised digital paper trail, our Supply Chain team hasn't been able to effectively contest these supplier invoices.

The Solution To fix this and protect our bottom line, we are moving equipment tracking directly into the HubOne delivery check-in flow. Going forward, it is mandatory that all received and returned equipment is logged in the app.

Here is a quick overview of the new two-step process:

Step 1: The Pre-Count

  • To prepare for the delivery, count the equipment you plan to return before Lekkerland arrives (e.g. the evening before or in a quiet moment).

  • Having these counts ready ahead of time prevents delays and keeps the Hub clear.

  • Go to the Activities page, tap ā€œPrepare equipment,ā€ and tap to add the count for each listed item.

  • Once you finish, your completed count will show up in the activities tab.

Step 2: During Delivery

  • When the delivery arrives, you will have to register the equipment you are receiving and returning with the driver.

  • Start the Delivery Check-In as you normally would via the Activities tab.

  • After you confirm all of your scanned rollies, you will be taken to the transport equipment count screen.

  • Simply enter the quantity of equipment you just received, and confirm (or adjust) the pre-filled return data that was carried over from your pre-count.

That's it! Thanks for helping us keep our inventory accurate.

šŸ‘‰ New SAP People Profile starting May 15, 2026

SAP is rolling out a mandatory user interface (UI) update to provide a more modern and flexible experience. We will go live with the new design on May 15, 2026 (this transition is mandatory for everyone who uses SAP).

The most important point first: What stays the same?

For your daily work as a Hub Manager, rest assured: Only the visual layout in the employee profile is changing!

The background processes remain exactly the same:

• Processes & Workflows: Your approval steps (e.g., Manager Self-Service, inserting terminations ) will function exactly as they do now and require the same approvals.

• Data & Permissions: All existing employee data will be transferred 1:1. Reporting lines and team structures remain identical, and existing role-based permissions will continue to apply strictly.

What is new? (The new profile structure)

We are moving from the old, table-based view to a clean, tile-based structure. This will provide a much better overview:

• Navigation: All relevant categories are now clearly listed on the left side of the screen.

• New Terminology: The "Absence" section is now called "Time Management".

• History: Past employment information now has its own separate category to keep the current view uncluttered.

• Better Clarity: Clear distinctions are now made between current, past, and future entries.

To help you navigate the new system immediately, we have prepared a Quick Step-to-Step Guide. This guide uses screenshots to show you the most important steps for processing terminations, contract extensions, uploading documents and creating absences.

Please contact People Ops if you have any further questions.
