🧠 HOM Quiz Q1: Help Us Build a Stronger Foundation!

The next iteration of the HOM (Hub Operating Model) Quiz is launching this week, and we need your expert insight to help us grow.

As we saw from our first assessment in Q4 2025, our Hub Leadership team, including OA+, SLs, and HMs, holds a solid baseline knowledge score of 64%. While we saw fantastic results in areas like Hub Safety, the data also highlighted clear "areas of improvement" in newer processes and systems.

Why are we doing this?

This isn’t a performance test. It is a vital tool for us to understand where our training and communication might be falling short. By identifying these gaps, we can:

  • Target Training: Develop better resources for the areas you find most challenging.

  • Simplify Processes: Improve how we roll out new updates to make them easier to retain.

  • Support Growth: Ensure every leader has the tools and knowledge needed to run a successful hub.

What you need to know:

  • It’s Anonymous: Please be honest! We want to see the real picture of our current operations.

  • Quick & Easy: The assessment consists of 15-20 questions via Edume.

  • Our Big Goal: Last time, we reached 41% completion. This quarter, we are aiming for 80% completion across all hubs to ensure our data truly represents our teams' needs!

Keep an eye on your inbox later this week for the direct link. Your participation is the most important step in helping us build a more informed, efficient, and supported leadership team.

Let’s bridge the gaps together!

šŸ“¢ We Want Your Feedback: Late-Night Cancellation Updates

Recently, we introduced a new step for cancelling late-night orders due to "insufficient staffing." As a reminder, for certain orders, you will now see a prompt asking you to double-check the cancellation before hitting confirm. This was designed to help us reduce avoidable cancellations and ensure we provide the best possible experience for our customers during the final hours of the shift.

How is it working for you?

Now that the feature has been live for a short while, we want to know how it feels on the ground. Is it clear? Is it helpful? Is it slowing you down?

We need your honest feedback to help us fine-tune this feature and make sure it works for you, not against you.

It only takes a few moments to complete, but your input is essential to helping us improve our hub tools. Thanks for helping us get it right!

šŸš“ā€ā™‚ļø DaaS Orders SOP

1. Identification (Hub Team)

  • ID Outsourced: Identify if the order is assigned to an external provider based on the logo shown on the Screen.

2. Picking

  • Pick and pack the required items into Flink paper bags as usual.

3. Tamper-Proof Sealing & Labeling

  • Seal: Securely close the bag using a stapler to ensure it is tamper-proof. Staplers can be ordered via Amazon if needed.

4. Place on Handover Shelf

  • Take the sealed and labeled bag to the dedicated handover shelves.

  • Place the bag in the specific section corresponding to the designated provider.

Workforce Updates

Because of planned and unplanned absences and the shorter working week due to the long Easter weekend, we're seeing longer response times. Thank you for your understanding while we work through the queue and finalise the Summer Semester 2026 matriculation certificates.

🚨 Escalations – Important Reminders

  • Please escalate urgent cases only

  • Always include the Zendesk ticket ID

  • For visa unpausing cases, please do not reach out via Slack to Workforce Support, as this may delay responses

šŸ“¢ Enrolment Certificates Update - Summer Semester 2026

  • 350 employees have not yet uploaded their matriculation certificates (current ones expire on 31 March 2026)

  • Additionally, 65 certificates are still missing for April

Next steps:

  • From 1 April: Employees with missing certificates will be paused in bulk and batches.

  • By calendar week 15: All missing cases will be paused

  • From 9 April: First batch of terminations will be processed for people who did not submit matriculations and are paused.

  • āš ļø Terminations will not be revoked if certificates are submitted after processing

šŸ‘‰ Please review your Cluster Sheets immediately and remind affected employees to upload their documents without delay to avoid operational impact.

šŸ“ŒMinijob contract changes updates
