DaaS Handover Process

Hub Pick, Pack & Handover Prep

This guide outlines the process for handling DaaS (Delivery as a Service) orders. When orders are fulfilled by external partners like Wolt or Uber, following these steps ensures the handovers are seamless and orders are easily identifiable.

What is DaaS?

DaaS stands for Delivery as a Service. It means we utilize external delivery providers to help deliver our orders. You can identify these orders by the specific partner logo appearing on the Hub One Screen.

The 4-Step Handover Process

Step 1: Identification

Check your Zebra device for incoming orders. Look at the Hub One Screen: if you see an external logo (Uber/Wolt), the order is outsourced.

Step 2: Picking

Pick and pack the items as usual using Flink paper bags. Ensure all items are present before proceeding to the packing finalization.

Step 3: Sealing & Labelling

Staple the bag for a tamper-proof seal. Crucial: Write the customer’s Last Name and Order Number clearly on the bag (e.g., Müller - #7890).

Step 4: Handover Shelf

Place the sealed bag on the dedicated handover shelf. Make sure it is in the section labeled for that specific provider.
