⚙️ HubOne Performance Boost Coming! Wednesday 22.10

Starting this Wednesday, hub devices will automatically clear their cache every night at 3 AM.

This update will help keep HubOne running faster and smoother, improving performance and order assignment efficiency.

  • You’ll just need to tap “Agree” on the Chrome screen before logging in each morning, a quick, one-time step.

This improvement is part of IT’s ongoing work to make our systems more stable and reliable for all hubs.

🛠️ General Rule: Proactive Maintenance

Fridges and freezers need regular maintenance to work properly and last longer.

Your Essential Tool: The Maintenance Guide

We have created the Fridge & Freezer Maintenance Guide that contains all the necessary steps for maintenance..

Action Steps for Every Hub:

  1. Read the Guide: Familiarize yourself with the routine maintenance procedures.

  2. Print & Post: Keep a physical copy of the guide at your hub.

  3. Follow Regularly: Implement the maintenance schedule explained in the guide.

Following these steps will prevent most common issues and extend the lifespan of the equipment!

What to do when a fridge/freezer is not working?

Follow these steps to get the fastest support.

Step-by-Step Emergency Guide

  1. Check The Guide First: Before reporting the issue, read the Maintenance Guide and perform the recommended checks.

  2. Create a Ticket: Only if the guide does not solve the problem, create a ticket through the usual process.

    1. Minor damage: fridge/freezer has an issue - products can still be stored

    2. Major damage: order stop ticket - products cannot be stored anymore

Team Support & Slack Channel: If necessary, your ticket will be automatically posted in #berlin-fridges-and-freezers-exchanges.

The communication will happen only in the channel to align on the next steps - NO DMs.

Introducing the Quarterly HOM Quiz - helping us to improve hub knowledge and training

:brain:

We’re excited to announce the first HOM Quiz (Hub Operating Model), a knowledge quiz designed for our hub leaders (OA+ and above)!

What is it?
This quiz is a short, anonymous Edume assessment, consisting of 20-30 questions about our core hub operations processes.

Goal?

  • Understand knowledge of our core processes across hub leadership, to identify where our training and communication needs to be improved.

  • It's not a performance test, but purely for us to understand where we need to strengthen our training and information sharing.

  • The results will guide us in improving training and support where needed, so everyone knows our best practices.

The quiz will be completely anonymous, so just take it honestly to the best of your knowledge.Stay tuned for the email with the assessment and help us build a stronger foundation for continuous improvement.

🚀 Münster Launch
