Weekly To Do’s
Rider Awareness: How We Look at the Door
When a rider arrives at a customer’s door, that 30-second interaction shapes how the customer judges all of Flink. A clean, professional look signals reliability and food safety.
🚲 Why it matters
Our riders are the only direct touchpoint we have with customers. As Hub Managers & Shift Leads, you are the gatekeepers – your job is to make sure every rider leaving the hub meets our look and safety standards before they hit the road.
Same delivery, different feeling
On the left, it looks like Flink. On the right, it looks off – same delivery, very different impression for the customer.
| Looks like Flink | Looks off |
Helmet | On and clipped the whole ride | Hanging off the bars or skipped |
Gear | Clean Flink jacket, easy to recognise | Plain or covered up — who is this? |
Bag | Closed, upright, spotless | Open, grubby, dragged on the floor |
Handover | Warm greeting, thank you | Silent drop-and-go, no eye contact |
Rider Gear Updates
A quick look-check before each rider leaves keeps every Flink delivery feeling premium.

Key Updates You Can’t Miss
WF App Update: Fewer Accidental Cancellations
As many of you reported, riders sometimes cancel orders by accident – phone in the pocket, or rain on the screen. To fix this, we’re rolling out two small changes to the cancellation flow. 🔄
Cancel only 10 seconds after “Arrived”
The ‘Cancel order’ button stays disabled while the delivered-slide counter is still running (10 seconds after swiping Arrived).
Press and hold to cancel
Instead of a single tap, the Cancel button now needs to be pressed and held to trigger the cancellation flow. A progress loading bar will appear on the button while pressing it.
📱 This update is released for Android this week, and for iOS next week.
New Flyers: Contact-Form Access for Former Employees
Acting on Hub Manager feedback, we’re fixing the lack of contact-form access for former employees. Over the coming days you’ll receive flyers to print and display in your hub, each with a QR code linking straight to the right contact form.
❗ A few important notes
Former Employee Form – for former employees only. Active employees must keep using the Workforce app.
Visa Upload Form – for blocked employees only. Active employees should use the Fountain recollection link (or the app if the link isn’t working). Use this flyer only when an employee is blocked and can’t upload documents – you’ll need the ticket number to escalate with Workforce Support to speed up unpausing.
✅ Quick recap:
Active employees → Workforce app / Fountain link.
Former or blocked employees → Relevant flyer QR code.
Shelf Changes & Delistings
Shelf Changes + Weekly Delistings
Please open the link via your hub’s goflink account – access requests from a private email address will be rejected.
In the Google Drive folder you’ll find the G-Sheet files for all hubs affected by shelf changes. Only follow the file with exactly the same name as your hub, and check the hub code when downloading. Find the file here.
A few notes on the sheets:
The sheets are hub-specific – only the sheet named with your hub code is valid for your hub.
“SKU”: the SKU that needs to move to another shelf space.
“oldShelf” (4th column): if empty or 999X, the product is newly assigned to your hub – just store it in the shelf shown in “newShelf”.
“newShelf” (5th column): if empty or 999X, the product has been delisted in your hub.
If both have a shelf number, it’s a normal shelf change.
“Delisting Status” (8th column): if it says Delisted, add the SKU to your rescue bag tomorrow morning.
Changes go live tonight between 01:00 and 07:00 – please reorder the products tonight / tomorrow morning.
