The Empties Process - In 4 Steps

Every correctly counted and recorded roll container (and box) saves real money; the empties process isn’t extra work, but part of a clean and reliable handover. Please make sure to follow it carefully.

1️⃣ Count all empties that will be returned

➡️ Roll containers, TKTs (frozen roll containers), IFCO boxes, foldable boxes, meat crates

✅ Use the Empties Preparation Sheet for this

📍 The Preparation Sheets must be created in the hubs (before REWE comes)

2️⃣ REWE delivers new empties + the TRT slip

➡️ Compare the delivered quantities with the TRT slip

🔍 If they don’t match → correct the slip manually!

3️⃣ REWE picks up the empties

➡️ Enter exactly what REWE actually takes back

🖊️ Driver signs the TRT slip

4️⃣ Fill out the form

🖥️ Open the new Airtable form

✍️ Enter the quantities of all empty types (now you have to also type in the received quantities!)

📷 Upload a photo of the signed TRT slip

Reorganized Rider Delivery Screen to tackle Misuse of Swipes: Go live - Wednesday 23.07.25

We see frequent issues of ‘double-swiping’ where riders misuse the “Arrived” and “Delivered” swipes by swiping very briefly after each other. This leads to customer confusion and complaints, as orders falsely appear as ‘delivered’ or ‘en route’ to the next customer.

To tackle this, we are updating the rider delivery interface in the WF App. What’s New:

  • Before swiping ‘arrived’, riders will see a simplified screen with only the key customer information: address and notes.

  • Only after swiping ‘arrived’, they will see the full address information, including doorbell name, entrance, floor, and elevator information. As of today, this information is only available before swiping ‘delivered'.

The goal of this change is to reduce distraction and premature swiping, ensuring riders swipe ‘arrived’ once they actually arrive at the location, and not once they are already with the customer.

A small change, but one that helps improve data accuracy and the customer experience.

New Barcode Skipping EduMe Guide: Go live - 24.7.25

This week, we will be sending a new EduMe guide on Barcode Skipping to help reduce missed barcode scans during order pick-up, leading to post-delivery issues.

This short and focused training will be shared directly with OAs who have been flagged as frequent offenders of barcode scanning issues.

The guide explains:

  • Why barcode scanning is important

  • How to scan properly

  • What to do if a barcode doesn’t work

💡 Why this matters: Skipping barcode scans leads to delivery mistakes and lower customer satisfaction. This guide gives staff simple steps to avoid those issues.

👉 If you manage OAs receiving this training, please remind them to complete it and support them if they have any questions.

Let’s work together to improve quality and reduce order issues, one scan at a time!

Workforce Updates

_________________________________

Please do not resolve your own tickets.

Solving your own tickets causes delays for the Workforce Support team when processing your requests, such as contract changes or escalations.

Please be mindful that, in some cases, after you raise a request, we keep the ticket on hold because we are either waiting for a third-party response or need to take further action, for example, updating SAP for contract changes.

Shelf Changes + Delistings____________________________________

Screenshot 2025-05-25 125601.png

Please try accessing the link using hub’s goflink account. Access requests using private mail addresses will be declined.

Based on your feedback, we accommodated the delistings in the shelf change list. Column H (Delisting Status) will flag if a SKU has been delisted. Therefore we are removing the Delistings section from the newsletter. However, with our folder restructuring the shelf change link will take you to the g-drive folder, where you will find the current week’s change; change archive and the Delistings Archive separately.

Please only follow the ones that have exactly the same naming of your hubs and also be careful with following the same hub code while downloading the files.

Please find the file here

Some notes on the sheets:

  • The sheets are, as mentioned above, Hub specific. So only the sheet named with your hub code is valid for your hub.

  • "SKU" you can find the SKU which needs to be moved to another shelf space.

  • "oldShelf" - 4th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, we just assigned this product to your Hub, so please just store it in the shelf mentioned in "new shelf".

  • "newShelf" - 5th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, the product has been delisted in your hub.

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.

  • The changes will go live tonight between 01 am and 07 am, please reorder the products tonight/ tomorrow morning.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Muhammad Al Zabir Rakin.

Thank you!
