Next-Day Orders – Expansion This Week

We rolled out next-day delivery last week as a limited test. Starting this week, we’re expanding the number of customers who can choose next-day delivery.

To keep operations smooth, the number of next-day orders per day will still be capped to avoid overloading the next morning.

The feature is now live for more Flink customers. We will monitor to see how this affects operations.

Please note: next-day orders can increase the average fulfillment time shown in the Hub Portal on the day they’re placed. However, this does not affect the actual KPIs.

Next-day orders will appear in the Hub Portal on the day they’re placed, with a note indicating they’ll be picked and delivered the following day. These orders will only appear in the “All Orders” view and will be filtered out from other views.

Call for no Response in CS - Go live: 2.7.25

To improve response times for critical customer issues, Customer Care will now follow up by phone if a hub does not respond to urgent matters in the CS Slack channel within 10 minutes.

⚠️ This only applies to a small number of high-priority escalations and will not happen frequently, and won't cause additional stress on operations.

The follow-up will occur only in the following cases:

  • Customer cancellation requests (live orders)

  • Missing or wrong orders (e.g., customer received nothing or the incorrect order)

⏱️ Reminder & Call Flow:

  • 0 min: Initial Slack message

  • After 5 min: First Slack reminder

  • After 10 min: Second Slack reminder + phone call to the hub

📢 Phone message: "You have an urgent message from Customer Care, please check Slack and respond."

Please continue keeping an eye on the CS Slack channel as usual; this feature is just here to help during especially busy moments. Staying responsive ensures we handle rare but important issues quickly, keeping customers happy and operations running smoothly!

Tech-Hub-Servce: New Resolve Quinyx Account Issues Workflow

We’re back with another helpful TechOps Slack workflow for you!

This is only our second workflow and follows the one we launched last week for setting riders offline in the Hub Portal.

Today, we’re introducing the Resolve Quinyx Account Issues workflow.

With this new tool, you can enter a rider’s details, and we’ll automatically look up their account in Quinyx. Depending on what we find, you’ll be able to:

:white_check_mark:

Unlock locked accounts

:white_check_mark:

Generate a new password if it’s forgotten

:white_check_mark:

Instructions on what to do in other cases

No more tickets in #tech_hub_service-de needed for these cases!

Please start using this workflow from now on, whenever you have an issue with a Quinyx account

This is another step in TechOps’ mission to build automations that give you faster support without delays.

Speaker Function for Rider Internet Calls: Go live - end of this week

After the recent rollout of VoIP calling in the app, we asked our riders for feedback! One of the most requested features was the ability to use the speaker function, just like with regular phone calls.

We’re excited to share that speaker functionality for VoIP calls has been added, making communication even easier and more flexible for riders on the go.

Why it matters: Riders told us that being able to switch to speaker mode is especially helpful while multitasking or when wearing gloves. This small change will make a big difference in their daily experience.

Reminder:To make VoIP calls through the app, riders need to enable microphone access on their phone.

Shelf Changes + Delistings____________________________________

Screenshot 2025-05-25 125601.png

Please try accessing the link using hub’s goflink account. Access requests using private mail addresses will be declined.

Based on your feedback, we accommodated the delistings in the shelf change list. Column H (Delisting Status) will flag if a SKU has been delisted. Therefore we are removing the Delistings section from the newsletter. However, with our folder restructuring the shelf change link will take you to the g-drive folder, where you will find the current week’s change; change archive and the Delistings Archive separately.

Please only follow the ones that have exactly the same naming of your hubs and also be careful with following the same hub code while downloading the files.

Please find the file here

Some notes on the sheets:

  • The sheets are, as mentioned above, Hub specific. So only the sheet named with your hub code is valid for your hub.

  • "SKU" you can find the SKU which needs to be moved to another shelf space.

  • "oldShelf" - 4th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, we just assigned this product to your Hub, so please just store it in the shelf mentioned in "new shelf".

  • "newShelf" - 5th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, the product has been delisted in your hub.

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.

  • The changes will go live tonight between 01 am and 07 am, please reorder the products tonight/ tomorrow morning.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Muhammad Al Zabir Rakin.

Thank you!
