When a control takes place, follow these steps

1. Request contact details: Note down the inspector's contact information.
2. Documentation: If specific documents are requested, show and explain them (see table).

Important: If you are unsure which documents are needed or you don’t have access, contact your Area Manager or Imani Reiser (01623141510) immediately. They can provide the missing information or speak with the authorities.

General golden rules:

  • Keep the hub clean and tidy at all times. If needed, raise a cleaning ticket for external tasks and schedule internal cleaning (e.g., fridges, employee areas).

  • Ensure soap and hand towels are always available.

  • Keep exterior doors and fridge/freezer doors closed when no need for them to be open

  • If possible, have a German speaker present to avoid misunderstandings.

  • Follow the FIFO principle, assure BBD and freshness checks to be done.

  • Complete Flowtify checks honestly.

After the control:

  • Report the visit via authority visits/authority request ticket to the Food Safety Management, including the contact details and if available inspection report.

  • Report problems to Imani Reiser

  • Questions to Imani Reiser

Smartvelo new bike instructions

As a reminder, here are the steps to use Smartvelo Bikes properly:

1. Shift Gears Smoothly

  • Turn the grip shifter to change gears.

  • Start in a low gear to make it easier to accelerate and reduce engine strain.

  • The gears shift seamlessly—no need to worry!

2. Don’t Pedal While Shifting

  • Stop pedaling before changing gears to avoid damaging the gear cables.

3. Pack Smartly

  • Place heavy bags in the saddlebags and lighter bags in the boxes for better balance and stability.

4. Use Both Brakes Together

  • Always apply both brakes simultaneously for safer stopping and to prevent uneven brake wear.

5. Remove the Battery After Your Shift

  • Leaving the battery in the bike drains power and can cause deep discharge and damage—always remove it after your shift.

Enjoy the ride, and keep the bike in top shape! 🚴‍♀️

Weekly insights__________________________________

  • Due to lower staffing in the team, we are experiencing an increase in reply time this week.

    • Please create escalations correctly and escalate only urgent requests. We are working on solving the tickets, and we will process payroll and visa tickets as fast as possible.

    • Ticket IDs are required when escalating a ticket. Without the correct ticket ID, we will not process the escalation.

    • Escalate vacation requests only once an employee requests in Quinyx and it is handled by the vacation tool. If the vacation absence has not been processed yet, we kindly ask for patience as the tool approves or denies it in 24 hours.

  • We also kindly ask you to remind the employees to not open multiple tickets so that their issues can be solved quickly and to choose the most suitable option in the contact form for faster reply times.

Shelf changes

_________________________________

[1.0 + 3.0 Hubs] Shelf Changes

Please try accessing the link using hub’s goflink account. Access requests using private mail addresses will be declined.

In the google drive folder you will find the G-sheet files for all the hubs that are affected in the shelf change.

Please only follow the ones that have exactly the same naming of your hubs and also be careful with following the same hub code while downloading the files.

Please find the file here

Some notes on the sheets:

  • The sheets are, as mentioned above, Hub specific. So only the sheet named with your hub code is valid for your hub.

  • "SKU" you can find the SKU which needs to be moved to another shelf space.

  • "oldShelf" - 4th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, we just assigned this product to your Hub, so please just store it in the shelf mentioned in "new shelf".

  • "newShelf" - 5th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, the product has been delisted in your hub.

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.

  • The changes will go live tonight between 01 am and 07 am, please reorder the products tonight/ tomorrow morning.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Muhammad Al Zabir Rakin.

Thank you!
