[Insight/Action] Reduce Post Order Issues of Missing/Wrong Items 🛒

In the following situations, the option “Barcode Damaged" is often used instead of the correct workflow:

While picking a product → Button “Barcode Damaged” is pressed in order to be faster

When not finding a product → Barcode is skipped; the order in HubOne finished and the product is then looked for in the backstock.

Why is this damaging?

  • It contributes to a higher % of Post-Order Issues of Missing/Wrong Item

  • Higher inventory mistakes

  • It affects the quality of the customer’s experience, since the customer has to be the one requesting the refund

What is the correct procedure?

While picking a productScan the product OR tap in the product manually

When not finding a productSkip the product in the app; look for it in the backstock (or have a coworker look for it); go back to the product in the end and then finish the order.

🆘 What can you do to help us improve this situation?

Please make sure your OA’s are using the correct procedures when picking.

[Insight] On Trip Compliance - live for all riders 🚴‍♀️

The new On Trip Compliance feature in the Workforce App is now live for all riders.

Why was this introduced?

  • Problem: before, riders had no visibility of their ETA performance during their way to the customer.

  • Goal: to improve rider handling time by making sure that riders are aware of their ETA and are compliant on their journey to the customer and back to the hub.

  • Solution: All riders will see this new feature on their delivery screen.

What is the On Trip Compliance feature?

  • During delivery, the riders will see a new component with the ETA for them to arrive at the customer, based on cycling estimates. This component has three stages:

    • On time (green): the rider is within the threshold of the arriving ETA.

    • Time is running out (orange): the rider is still on time but might be experiencing a delay as the arriving ETA is getting closer.

    • Delayed (red): the rider will be delayed as the remaining cycling time is still high and the arriving ETA will not be reached.

  • The ETA starts once the rider is ‘en route’ and ends when he swipes ‘arrived’ at the customer. It restarts after every order.

📲Make sure riders are using the latest version of the Workforce App to see the new feature.

📲 For riders with gps permissions disabled, the feature will consider them delayed.
Make sure your riders have location tracking permissions always enabled for the feature to work properly.

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.
