[INSIGHT] The Flink Podium: Riders & OAs engagement campaign 🏆

Important: This is a test campaign that will run only in Chemnitz, Freiburg, Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Wuppertal from October to the end of December.

The Flink Podium is an initiative to drive overall performance of Riders and Ops Associates (OAs) by granting higher status and rewards to the best performers. How it works is:

  • We have established 3 different tiers of performance for employees (in the campaign: gold, silver and bronze). Each of these tiers give access to different benefits:

    • Gold: Priority 1 in auto shift assignment + 30% Flink discount

    • Silver: Priority 2 in auto shift assignment + 25% Flink discount

    • Bronze: no extra benefit (this is the "standard" tiers)

  • Each beginning of the month, employees will receive targets they need to achieve/maintain by the end of the month across the key performance and compliance metrics (e.g. UTR, no-shows, issue rate, availability submitted).

  • Throughout the month, they will receive a weekly update on their inbox of how they are faring against the target and in which "place in the podium" they would fall.

  • In the beginning of November, they will receive their "medal" and benefits according to their performance vs the target in October. In order to get a medal, they must meet ALL of the criteria for that tier.

  • This cycle will be repeated every month afterwards - they must maintain their performance to keep their rewards/status, or improve in order to reach the next one.

More details on the program and metrics evaluated can be found in the HubWiki

[UPDATE] Winter equipment for riders can now be ordered ❄️🚚

Riders can now order the new winter equipment via the Workforce App

→ Delivery will take place from October 4th.

  • Take a look here at how ordering as a rider works

  • Take a look here at what you need to do when the packages arrive at the hub

[FOLLOW-UP] Inbounding of Bakery Products 🍞

Our fresh baked goods from local bakeries are a key reason why customers love ordering from Flink. Therefore, it is crucial that the baked goods are logged in as early as possible.

So please pay attention to:

  • Ensure that baked goods are booked in within 30 minutes of opening.

  • Report baked goods with delayed delivery via HubAlert.

    • Hub Alert > Delivery Issues > Other requests & delivery feedback.

[REMINDER] Rolli and cigarette claiming tickets for Hub Alert

Hi all,

we're thrilled to see that many of you use the inbound checker more and more and even derive actions from it. As we've reminded you last time that you should only create hub alert tickets based on the actual delivery notes, we would now like to address problems that concern an entire rolli or SSCC (hint: cigarette cartons are an SSCC on their own and will also be treated like one).

What should I do if a rolli is missing?

  • The ideal case would be that directly at delivery, you'd check the number of rollis you're supposed to receive and ask the Rewe driver if there's a deviation.

  • If the Rewe driver does not have the rolli, please jointly write down which SSCC is missing on the TRT note (where you also sign how many empties you return), there's usually some blank space on the right side or bottom

  • Then please create a hub alert ticket: Delivery issues -> Rollcontainer/pallet issues -> Missing rollcontainer (also attach the pictures of the TRT note)

What should I do if I realize that a rolli is missing after the driver is gone?

  • Please create a hub alert ticket: Delivery issues -> Rollcontainer/pallet issues -> Missing rollcontainer

  • We will still try to claim it at Rewe

What should I do if a rolli is seriously damaged (e.g., fell off the truck when unloading)?

  • Please write down jointly with the driver which SSCC was damaged on the TRT note (where you also sign how many empties you return), there's usually some blank space on the right side or bottom

  • Hint: If you want to claim temperature deviations, the proper process would be measuring the temperature when the driver is present. If you realize that temperatures are too high after the driver has left, please take pictures of the temperature measurement at least 3 products of thet rolli with the thermometer that penetrates the product and attach them to the ticket.

  • Then please create a hub alert ticket: Delivery issues -> Rollcontainer/pallet issues -> Damaged rollcontainer (also attach the pictures of the rolli & the TRT note)

What should I do if the cigarette carton is missing or damaged?

  • Please follow the same steps as above and note down with the driver that the carton is damaged

  • If you realize that something is missing/damaged after the driver left, please do not open the cigarettes but create a ticket as described above for the entire handling unit (not the selling units)

  • Please also attach the picture of the filled out TRT note where you noted down the damage with the driver to the Hub Alert ticket you're creating

When should I create the hub alert ticket?

  • Please create the hub alert ticket regarding these rolli issues as soon as possible

Why can't I just wait to create the hub alert ticket in the evening/next morning when I have more time?

  • Just like when you buy a product privately, you first check your product upon receipt. Most sellers then grant you some days to claim your money back if there's something wrong with the product. We do have a similar agreement with Rewe, but our timelines are much shorter! Generally, we have to make a claim on the same business day.

  • As the Rewe hotlines and us only work in one shift, we have to tell them before late afternoon (some claims are even more time sensitive)

  • Once you submit a rolli claim, we will prioritize this ticket

  • If you really can't make it, it does not mean that we won't take a look at it, but chances will be pretty slim that we get the money back

Hence, it's really important that you use the right ticket type - not "other request & delivery feedback" - and provide us with the right information and documentation right away so we have a higher chance of getting the money back.

Please let us know if there are any questions. We're happy to help and looking forward to claiming some of the money back together with you!
