  • the LogIn in HubOne is only possible after punch-in

[Go Live] Dispatching of Temperature Sensitive Items 🧀🥛🍦

The algorithm behind "Dispatching of Temperature Sensitive Items" optimizes the delivery of temperature sensitive products.

  • Orders with temperature sensitive items are released for picking when a rider is expected to be available in the next 10 minutes.

  • Orders without temperature sensitive items are released for picking when a rider is expected to be available in the next 30 minutes.

[Insight] Hub 3.0 rollout - conversion of 43 hubs throughout Germany

In September, a total of 43 hubs in Germany will be converted to the Hub 3.0 concept. If your hub is included, we will contact you with information in good time.

[INFO] We are using your feedback 🤓

In July we introduced a single feedback form to collect your input on tools you use. We just want to say thank you to all of you for providing all this valuable input. 🎉

We received Feedback about:

  • Inbound-Checker

  • Damage Reports of Bikes

  • HubOne-App

  • Hub-Activities

  • and more….

We are now working on incorporating your ideas into our upcoming initiatives for the next quarter. Stay tuned as your idea may be the next to be introduced!

Please continue to give feedback via the form in the HubWiki. You can also always find the form pinned in the top of the channel de_ops_leads.

[Go-live] For hubs with Smartvelo bikes: click system for saddlebags and boxes

  • No more cable ties for Smartvelo bikes!🎉

  • From this week Smartvelo brings to you click systems for saddlebags and boxes. Through this system, cable ties are no longer needed. Saddlebags and boxes can then be placed within seconds from one bike to the next.

  • Because the saddlebags and boxes can then be quickly mounted on other bikes, you get fewer click sets than bikes. So you save space in the hub.

  • You will find the following in the sheet CL_HM_Hub_Abfragen (Tab 7. Smartvelo Klick-System)

    • Rollout plan (schedule and number of sets for your hub)

    • Total time you are allowed to schedule as a Special Task

    • Link to the instructions

    • Link to Google Forms to confirm the assembly

  • Please schedule the Special Task promptly after the click systems are delivered. When the assembly is complete, then you can confirm it via a Google Forms (link in the sheet linked above).

  • If you have any feedback on the new system, feel free to get in touch via Slack at @Mathis

  • A new system has also been developed for Cycle's wheels so that we can get away from cable ties. The system is currently in production and will be brought to the hubs this year.

[INFO] Further development of the bicycle fleet

  • The fleet of Flink continues to evolve!

  • We are constantly looking around for new types of vehicles so that we can optimize our fleet and supply our customers even faster. But feedback from riders is also important to us, because they are the ones who use the bikes.

  • We are currently testing a so-called longtail bike in Cologne, which we developed together with Smartvelo (see below, with our rider Jakob from Cologne). Four side bags and a box can be attached to the bike.

  • So far, the wheel has almost 1500 km on the speedometer and not yet needed a maintenance! Not only in the maintenance of the wheel makes a good impression, also the Cologne Rider, who test the wheel for several weeks almost non-stop, are convinced:

    • "Very good at full load. No difference noticeable with less load." - Jabok D.

    • "Very pleasant ride. Fun for more! :) 10/10" - Florian B.

    • "Stable in rain / wet conditions. Very good handling despite heavy order." - Jakob D.

  • Once we have gained more experience in the field test, further more extensive / intensive, but still selective tests will follow. A rollout of more bikes, especially a larger number, can therefore only be expected next year.

  • "SKU" you can find a the SKU which needs to be moved to another shelf space;

  • "oldShelf" - 4th column: If the cell is empty, we just assigned this product to your Hub, so please just store it in the shelf mentioned in "new shelf";

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.
