Use of thermal packaging: use the additional thermal packagings (e.g., "pizza boxes in pink") for the products that require them, especially for frozen products, fresh fish and meat.
Put a few packages in the picking cart and pack the goods as soon as they appear in the order.
Let the Rider know at the same time so that they remember to take them back.
Refrigerator settings: refrigerators operate at full capacity in warmer temperatures to maintain the setting temperature.
In order to prevent possible breakdowns, the basic settings need to be changed so that the fridges "hold out":
Drinks fridges: basic setting of 10°C;
MoPro/ Fresh fridges: 7°C basic setting.

Especially important: The best way to keep the temperature low is to always keep the doors closed. So, especially on hot days, make sure that the door is closed immediately after picking or restocking.

Make sure to do regular temperature checks with your thermometer in the fridge and on the products!
With the warm temperatures, it can happen that the refrigerators produce more condensation than normal. This runs as usual via a drain at the bottom into a collection container and condenses there.
Make sure that the refrigerator is clean, especially at the bottom, so that the condensation water can run off.
If a lot of condensation water is produced, the collection container may overflow. This means that the refrigerator is still fully functional.
Nevertheless, make sure that there are no open multiple plugs or other sockets on the floor, otherwise short circuits may occur.
The air from outside can also be a big factor. Try to keep the doors closed, as far as possible of course, so that the air conditioners can work better.
