Process
The Hub Manager registers themselves directly after their onboarding.
The registration takes place via the homepage of our professional association BGHW with the help of some screenshots that describe the registration process in detail below.
It is important that the Hub Manager indicates the Expansion GmbH number (found here) where they are employed and that they know that the registration expires after 3 months.
The 10-12 hour course is completely online and can be completed from home.
The training can be interrupted at any time and continued later on, so that you can divide it into sections according to your availability.
After completing the course, the form will be sent to the Hub address given during registration.
After receiving the certificate, send it directly to HQ via this form and put into your occupational safety folder for the records.
It is mandatory to complete the advanced seminar after 6 months to deepen the basic industry-specific knowledge. The registration is done in the same way as described below. (Click here to register).

How do I register for the Security Officer Program?
First, go to the homepage of our professional association “BGHW”.
Click on “Jetzt anmelden” (log in now).
3. Now select “Enquire”.
4. All the fields marked with ⭐ must be filled out.
5. Fields:
Funktion im Betrieb (desired position): safety officer;
E-mail: E-mail address of the participant(s);
Telephone: telephone number of the participant(s);
Mitglieds-/ UVT-Nummer (member/UVT number): see the numbers here from the expansion you're employed by.
Street / Street No.: enter the address of the hub where the security officer works.
Then select “Continue”.
Fill in the participant's date of birth and click on “Continue” again.
4. In the “Notes” field: check whether the correct training (”Sicherheitsbeauftragte - Grundausbildung”) and the “Web Based Training” were selected.
5. Click “Continue**”.**
6. As a last step, check the data and accept the general and data protection regulations.
7. Click on “Send”.
How do I get my access data for the E-training?
You will receive the access data via an e-mail from the BGHW. If you haven’t received it 1-2 days after the registration confirmation, contact Ms. Kulasik from the BGHW. She is responsible for organizing the seminar and is happy to help.

FAQ
How Much Time Do I Have To Complete The E-Training?
The course runs for one quarter (three months), after which it’s closed. If you haven’t completed the test by then, you’ll need to register again.

Why is this important?
We are legally required to appoint and train at least one security officer per hub. They support the enforcement of safety measures in the hubs. This involves ensuring that all occupational safety measures identified by the Hub Manager in the risk assessment are enforced in the hub, also by the hub manager. For this, training is another tool to be able to do the job responsibly.
