As a critical component of a facility’s safety equipment, the escape and rescue plan plays a key role in fire safety documentation. It helps Hub Managers, Shift Leads, and Ops Associate Plus personnel stay informed about the facility’s escape routes and supports the overall safety guidance system.
General guidelines
Each hub receives an escape and rescue plan by mail, enclosed in an aluminum frame and equipped with hardware for hanging.
Upon receiving the plan, the Hub Manager is responsible for promptly displaying it at the designated location, as indicated on the plan itself under Standort (Location).
The Hub Manager must also ensure that all employees, including new ones, are informed about the plan and fully understand its contents, including the legend and symbols. This can be done through a review session or other appropriate means.
The plans are provided in both German and English to accommodate all employees.

The plan specifies where fire extinguishers must be placed. If there are insufficient fire extinguishers according to the plan, please create a work safety issue ticket.Emergency exits

Each year, Total Feuerschutz conducts a thorough inspection of all fire extinguishers at the hub. This annual check ensures that all extinguishers are in proper working condition and comply with safety regulations.
No preparation or action is required from your side before their visit, as Total Feuerschutz handles the entire process.
