2. You will need to transfer it to Quinyx by creating an absence shift for the Shift Lead. Click on “Add shift” and enter the corresponding data for the situation:

3. Enter all necessary 8h shifts (depending on the type of contract) during the period of vacation or sick leave and directly punch them in:

Important:

Remember that if it's a part-time contract, the days worked vary.

4. In case of sickness, the Shift Lead shifts are released again and can be reassigned to another Shift Lead. The shift is removed via the x on the following pop-up window:

FAQ

  • The vacation balance displays the vacation days someone has accrued as of the moment it’s being checked instead of the total balance for the whole year.

  • Once employees pass their probationary period, they are entitled to request a full annual vacation, although it will not be reflected in their Quinyx account.

Why is it important?

  • Since the requests for vacation and sickness for Shift Leads are only done through SAP, we need to store this data in Quinyx as well.
