The FIFO Principle (First In First Out Principle) means that products with the lowest expiration date are put at the front of the shelf. The rest of the products must be sorted in order of descending expiration dates, meaning that the products with the highest expiration date will be at the back of the shelf. This process is done during inbound.

Don't lose track of products with shorter BBD in the back of the shelf.
Process
When inbounding or restocking new products, put them behind the old products (in descending order of BBD)
This way, the product with the shortest BBD is at the front and the product with the longest BBD is at the back
You can find the respective BBD on each package – always check whether the items are stored according to the FIFO principle. If this is not the case, sort them accordingly.
If you encounter any product that is past their expiration date, outbound them.
