Update: New Inbound Checker Now Live – Boosting Fill Rate Performance

We’re excited to announce the continued rollout of the new Inbound Checker on Looker. While some hubs are still requesting access to the old Google Sheets version, we want to highlight that the Looker dashboard is significantly faster and more accurate.

Since the transition to Looker, we’ve seen a clear improvement in daily fill rate performance across the network. The dashboard allows you to track performance by individual supplier, including those not covered in DESADV, such as bakery suppliers, giving teams more visibility and control.

If your hub hasn’t switched over yet, now’s the time to make the move!

Reminder: Container Label Instructions for All Hubs

A quick but important reminder regarding roll containers and their labels:

Before the Lekkerland driver collects containers the next day, please ensure all labels are removed during inbound, no exceptions. Here's how to handle them:

  • Label is for your hub?
Inbound the container as usual and remove the label.

  • Label is for a different hub?
Still inbound the container, take a photo of the label, inform us, and then remove the label.

This helps ensure accurate tracking and avoids confusion in the supply chain.

Thanks for your continued attention to detail!

Reorganized Rider Delivery Screen to tackle Misuse of Swipes: Go live - Wednesday 23.07.25

We see frequent issues of ‘double-swiping’ where riders misuse the “Arrived” and “Delivered” swipes by swiping very briefly after each other. This leads to customer confusion and complaints, as orders falsely appear as ‘delivered’ or ‘en route’ to the next customer.

To tackle this, we are updating the rider delivery interface in the WF App. What’s New:

  • Before swiping ‘arrived’, riders will see a simplified screen with only the key customer information: address and notes.

  • Only after swiping ‘arrived’, they will see the full address information, including doorbell name, entrance, floor, and elevator information. As of today, this information is only available before swiping ‘delivered’.

The goal of this change is to reduce distraction and premature swiping, ensuring riders swipe ‘arrived’ once they actually arrive at the location, and not once they are already with the customer.

A small change, but one that helps improve data accuracy and the customer experience.

New Barcode Skipping EduMe Guide: Go live - 24.7.25

This week we will be sending a new EduMe guide on Barcode Skipping to help reduce missed barcode scans during order pick-up, leading to post delivery issues.

This short and focused training will be shared directly with OAs who have been flagged as frequent offenders of barcode scanning issues.

The guide explains:

  • Why barcode scanning is important

  • How to scan properly

  • What to do if a barcode doesn’t work

💡 Why this matters: Skipping barcode scans leads to delivery mistakes and lower customer satisfaction. This guide gives staff simple steps to avoid those issues.

👉 If you manage OAs receiving this training, please remind them to complete it and support them if they have any questions.

Let’s work together to improve quality and reduce order issues, one scan at a time!

New Slack Bot for Negative Corrections - GoLive Wednesday, 23.07.25

Starting this week, we are launching a new automated Slack Alert to enhance our inventory management.

How does it work?

  • Each morning, the bot will identify any hubs that experienced significant negative inventory corrections the previous day.

  • It will then automatically post a summary, tagging the relevant Hub Manager and City Manager to provide context and clarity on the events.

  • Please use this post to provide feedback about why such large corrections were made.

The goal is to spot mistakes, why they happened, and possibly correct them.

Hub Manager Quarterly & New Quarterly Challenge!

Last week’s Hub Manager Quarterly was a big success, full of energy, collaboration, and great moments shared with colleagues from across the business.

The day included breakout sessions, open discussions, and valuable time to reflect on what’s working and where we can improve. Of course, we also enjoyed delicious food and wrapped things up in style with a boat ride alongside HQ staff.

🔍 New Quarterly Challenge: Customer Centricity

We also launched our new Quarterly Challenge, focused on improving Customer Centricity, one of our core values. This challenge is designed to drive real impact and is made up of three key parts:

  • Post-Delivery Issues

    • Focus on reducing customer complaints related to eggs and bananas (measured per 100 orders).

  • Rider Cancellations

    • Work on lowering the number of rider-initiated order cancellations per 100 orders.

  • Photo/Video Challenge

    • A creative challenge with 5 fun options to choose from, encouraging teams to engage and share what customer centricity means to them.

👉 Details of the challenge are shown in the slide deck

Let’s make this quarter our best yet, through teamwork, focus, and keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!

Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
