Be Part of Our New Office Wall!

We’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be moving into our brand-new office, and we want our hub teams to be at the heart of it. Right at the entrance, we have a large wall where we’ll proudly display framed photos of every hub team.

We’d love for you to be part of it! Here’s how to make your photo count:

✅Landscape: (horizontal) photo

Framing: Stand in front of your hub - ideally showing the storefront or some part of the exterior

Additions: Include the Flink "F" - this could be on jackets, a sign, a prop… get creative!

:envelope_with_arrow:

Send: Either attach your photos to the thread in nl_hub-managers or send via DM to David Hunt.

📅 Deadline: Friday, 11th July
Questions? Reach out to David Hunt on Slack.

Let’s make sure our hubs are represented in style. We can’t wait to see your team’s personality shine through! 💖

Next-Day Orders – Expansion This Week

We rolled out next-day delivery last week as a limited test. Starting this week, we’re expanding the number of customers who can choose next-day delivery.

To keep operations smooth, the number of next-day orders per day will still be capped to avoid overloading the next morning.

The feature is now live for more Flink customers. We will monitor to see how this affects operations.

Please note: next-day orders can increase the average fulfilment time shown in the Hub Portal on the day they’re placed. However, this does not affect the actual KPIs.

Next-day orders will appear in the Hub Portal on the day they’re placed, with a note indicating they’ll be picked and delivered the following day. These orders will only show in the “All Orders” view and will be filtered out from other views.

Call for no Response in CS - Go live: 2.7.25

To improve response times for critical customer issues, Customer Care will now follow up by phone if a hub does not respond to urgent matters in the CS Slack channel within 10 minutes.

⚠️ This only applies to a small number of high-priority escalations and will not happen frequently, and won't cause additional stress on operations.

The follow-up will occur only in the following cases:

  • Customer cancellation requests (live orders)

  • Missing or wrong orders (e.g., customer received nothing or the incorrect order)

⏱️ Reminder & Call Flow:

  • 0 min: Initial Slack message

  • After 5 min: First Slack reminder

  • After 10 min: Second Slack reminder + phone call to the hub

📢 Phone message: "You have an urgent message from Customer Care, please check Slack and respond."

Please continue keeping an eye on the CS Slack channel as usual; this feature is just here to help during especially busy moments. Staying responsive ensures we handle rare but important issues quickly, keeping customers happy and operations running smoothly!

Delivery Area Expansion: New Service Update for Turf 25 and 27

Starting yesterday, our delivery service has expanded to include turf 25 and turf 27 in our hubs. Customers in these new areas will experience a different ordering process compared to our usual service. Instead of immediate, ASAP deliveries, they will be able to place planned orders only.

This adjustment allows us to better organize and stack orders, helping to maintain efficient fulfillment times and minimize delays. To set clear expectations, customers in these areas will see a 120-minute planned delivery time (PDT) when placing orders.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve our service and reach more customers.

Speaker Function for Rider Internet Calls: Go live - end of this week

After the recent rollout of VoIP calling in the app, we asked our riders for feedback, and they delivered! One of the most requested features was the ability to use the speaker function, just like with regular phone calls.

We’re excited to share that speaker functionality for VoIP calls has been added, making communication even easier and more flexible for riders on the go.

Why it matters:Riders told us that being able to switch to speaker mode is especially helpful while multitasking or when wearing gloves. This small change will make a big difference in their daily experience.

Reminder:To make VoIP calls through the app, riders need to enable microphone access on their phone.

Track-and-trace Afterparty package

We would like to inform you that from now on, you will receive POSTNL track-and-trace emails for deliveries from Afterparty, SKU 13133172. Occasionally, packages get lost, so with these emails, it will be easy to see, for example, when a package has been delivered to a neighbor.

The changes will go live tonight between 01:00 and 07:00, so please move the products to their new locations tonight after closure/tomorrow morning.

🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!

Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
