Flink Football Tournament 2025 - Amsterdam Results and next up: Rotterdam!

Screenshot 2025-05-25 165608.png

Last week, the Amsterdam area brought the heat! While a few teams were no-shows, causing some unexpected delays and a bit of reshuffling, the competition still delivered plenty of action and good vibes. Out of the two groups, two teams really stole the spotlight. But in the end, the power of Zaandam was just too much for the Katwijk/Leiden Zuid crew to handle (final score: 4–0). That means we’ve got our first two teams locked in for the grand final!

🥇 Winners: Zaandam

🥈 Runners up: Katwijk/Leiden Zuid

3️⃣ Semi-finalists: Watergraafsmeer

4️⃣ Semi-finalists: Amsterdam West

Here is also a small highlight video of the day, more footage to come at a later date from the official videographer for the tournaments!

Below you can see results from the day and how teams can qualify for the finals even if they didn't win or come runners-up on the day!

This Friday sees the second of the local tournaments, the Rotterdam area!

This will be a tough one with last year's winners, Breda, competing. Can they make two years in a row, or will we have a new champion in Zaandam?

New Slack workflow for sharing external employees in Quinyx

We’re excited to introduce a new Slack workflow that makes it faster and easier to share external riders in Quinyx — no need to submit a ticket in #tech_hub_service-nl anymore! This is part of TechOps’ ongoing effort to streamline processes and reduce wait times through automation.

📍 How It Works

You’ll find the new workflow “Share External Employees in Quinyx” at the top of the #tech_hub_service-nl channel under the “Workflows” section.

  1. Start the Workflow
Trigger the workflow, and a message will appear in the channel where you can enter the necessary details.

  2. Enter Details

    • Select the hub the external rider should be transferred to.

    • Enter the badge number or email address of the external employee.

  3. Add Multiple Riders (optional)
Click “Add Another Rider” if you want to include additional employees in the same request.

  4. Submit
Press “Share” to send the request. You’ll receive a confirmation message indicating whether the transfer was successful or not along with clear instructions on what to do next.

We encourage everyone to start using this workflow immediately when sharing external riders. It’s quick, simple, and eliminates unnecessary delays.

Fleet Tool in Hub Portal Update

There has been a small update to the Damage Reports in the Fleet Dashboard: “Archived by” is now “Closed by” and also shows who marked a damage report as fixed.

This way you can see if a damage report has been by the mechanics or by the hub (more suppliers to be added soon!).

Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
