E-Commerce CLA Renewal needs your voice
This week, on February 10, 2025, you received the survey from Innervoice about the CLA. On May 1st, 2025, our current e-commerce collective agreement expires. For that reason, talks are now taking place between Flink, other companies in the e-commerce market, and Union De Unie, among others.
We want to ask you to fill out the survey as you are part of the CLA. The survey ends on February 17, 2025.
After the end of the survey, De Unie and Flink will sit down to agree on a collective agreement for our employees based on the results of the survey.
Every opinion counts because this is of course, your collective labour agreement!

Tip Booster Update
The information about the new way tips will be distributed has been announced to Riders last Friday. Based on Rider feedback, we have rolled out the Tip Booster Programme to all hubs to ensure an even fairer distribution of tips, Previously, this was tested in the south of The Netherlands.
Every single day in the week for every hub, we collect all the tips that customers give to the hub, and we keep track of how many orders the riders in the hub deliver.
We then calculate the average of orders accepted, at customer time, trip on time, and how many unexcused no-shows a rider has in the week and, based on the targets that are in the posters, a rider will get either bronze, silver, or bronze tier in the week.
after we know:
The Tier for the week of the rider.
Amount of orders delivered in the hub per day.
Amount of orders delivered by the rider per day.
We can calculate how many tips a rider should get each day per order.
Tiers multipliers breakdown:
š„ Gold: 2x tips per order delivered.
āš„ Silver: Tips per order delivered without a multiplier.
āš„ Bronze: 0.5x Silver tips per order delivered.
Targets:
Gold | Silver | Bronze |
0 No-Shows | 0 No-Shows | All riders who did not meet Gold or Silver targets |
Top 50% of riders in the hub on Trips on time compliance | Top 90% of riders in the hub on Trips on time compliance |
|
Avg time at customer equal to or lower than hub average | Avg time at customer between 1x and 2x hub average |
|
75% or more Acceptance rate | 60% or more Acceptance rate |
|
Note: Riders receive their tier and tips boost when they reach all the required targets for the week.
What does this mean for riders:
āļø Riders tier is updated weekly based on the previous weekās performance and orders delivered.
āļø Every Tuesday, riders receive a Workforce app notification with a daily breakdown of total tips. Additionally, they will receive an email with a detailed analysis of their metrics and advice on how to improve.
āļø Tips are added to the next payroll as usual.

Find this week's leaflet on the fruit and vegetable quality: link
This week, weāve noticed some ongoing challenges with our fresh produce. Many of the Apple Gala (111950981) and Apple Pink Lady (113551571) batches have been below our quality standards, so letās make sure weāre keeping a close eye on inspections and reporting any issues with Hub Alert Tickets. Weāre also seeing quality issues with Lemons (111900925), so extra attention during incoming batch checks is important. On top of that, Raspberries (13003048) are in short supply due to supplier issues. Letās stay on top of things to keep quality high for our customers!

š¤Donāt forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!
Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!
Why do we do shelf changes?
Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortmentās size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.
For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.
This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.
If you notice products that donāt fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the āFacings feedbackā option in Hub Alert.
