Every Tuesday afternoon the newsletter is published here with the latest info for all hubs!

Your to-do's this week

In-hub print-outs of Labour Law Compliance guidelines

It is critical that we adhere to all Labour Laws. This requires both hub leadership and employees to have a clear understanding of the rules and what must be adhered to.

To ensure clarity of the guidelines to follow, please print out the summarised Labour Law Compliance guidelines in both English and Dutch and place them in clear sight by the Shift Lead’s desk in the hub.

You can find a link to the one-pager here and the Zendesk page with all compliance documents here.

In the coming weeks, we will be directly following up with breaches of Labour Law, so please adhere to these rules strictly.

Building the last 10 racks for XL hubs

For all the XL hubs, we will build the last 10 racks from D71 to D80.

You can find the corresponding numbers for your hub in your floorplans or shelf mapper.

This will provide more space for September listings that will go live on the 4th of September.

Build these racks two weeks before the listings go live.

This way, in case you have a shortage of clips or shelves, we will have enough time to provide them to you.

The estimated time for building ten racks is approximately 2.5 hours. You can find the instructions here.

Red Bulls for hub teams

With the very warm and lovely weather we’ve been having, we’ve been trying to work with our suppliers to get some summer treats in the hub. We’ve been able to secure ±15k free cans of Red Bull to distribute amongst our hub teams!

Arrival and inbounding

  • Red Bulls should be arriving in the hubs between Thursday and Friday this week in LL deliveries

  • Each hub will receive 11 or 12 trays of 24 pieces; please keep these separately from stock that is to be put on shelves and sold

  • IMPORTANT: it is crucial that you DO NOT INBOUND these items in order to prevent disruptions to future order send outs

Distribution amongst the team

  • We will shortly be communicating this to employees, letting them know to expect these in the hub later this week

  • Please distribute a maximum of 1 Red Bull per worked shift to employees

Your feedback on the new newsletter format 💬

As we had very little feedback this past week, we would like to give you another week to let us know how you feel about the new newsletter format.

Leave your feedback here. We will discuss the results and next steps in next week’s newsletter.

Your feedback is incredibly important to us, so we can provide you a platform that gives you exactly what you need. Thank you for your feedback!

Key updates you can't miss

Facings implementation

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, we have implemented a new logic for product facings. We kindly request that you adjust the number of facings according to the information displayed on your Zebra device. Should you have any feedback, please submit a facing ticket in Hub alert.

HubOne: white screen issue fixed

As most of you have experienced in the past, HubOne sometimes showed a white screen after a new app version was released. We have just released the newest version of HubOne, and although you might still get a white screen, that issue should be fixed after this release 🚀

If you still get a white screen, the app will show you instructions on how to resolve this issue. You can also check the instructions here in the FAQ section.

🙋‍♀️Issues to #tech-hub-service-nl

Too Good To Go update

Please make sure to prepare all TGTG bags before the collection (pick up) times of 1PM (13:00) until 7PM (19:00). This is crucial for the Dynamic Pricing model to work effectively. We still see hubs that don't sell their offered bags, and adding them during the pick up times has a negative impact. To mitigate this:

  • Check if you have more bags to sell than the standard supply in the TGTG Portal

  • Add any additional bags before 1PM.

Reminder: blocked sewer and clogged toilet

In case of a blocked sewer or clogged toilet, the hub should contact RRS by themselves by calling 088 030 13 13. If needed, please give them our customer number, which is 40587112.

🙋‍♀️Questions to Daniel Csapo

Being responsible with equipment

Please always be careful and responsible with the equipment in the hub. Make sure to keep them clean and safe. In case of any damage, please report it to your Hub Manager. It’s important to never throw out any damaged equipment! If you have any damaged equipment in the hub, make sure to report it to your Hub Manager and keep it in the hub until it’s decided what to do with it.

🙋‍♀️ For more information, reach out to Marina Tirado or Daniel Csapo.

Weekly Inbound Checker performance update

On a weekly basis, we will update you on any improvements, changes, or issues related to the Inbound Checker. Our goal is to keep everyone informed and ensure clear communication across the teams.

Process improvements:

:bulb:

  • Included 0 inbound: we’ve updated the inbound checker to display all SKUs listed from the DESADV, even those with 0 inbound quantity. This means that if an item is listed in the DESADV but hasn't been inbounded, it will now appear in the inbound checker and you’ll be required to provide a reason for the difference.

  • Bakery SKUs excluded: as some of you noticed and reported, incorrect bakery items were appearing in the inbound checker. These bakery SKUs have now been excluded.

  • Makro temporarily excluded: there is a mismatch with the delivery dates for Makro items, causing incorrect quantities to be displayed. We are actively working to resolve this issue, and for now we excluded Makro from the reporting.

  • Expanded capacity: the Inbound Checker now supports more than 100 rows.

  • Hourly updates: there will be updates running throughout the day. Please use the Inbound Checker at 17:00 or after and make sure it has run at least one update after you have finalized the inbounding (update time is visible in the Inbound Checker).

  • Alignment Inbound Checker/fill rates: we're aware of some discrepancies between the inbound fill rate and the Inbound Checker, and we are working on aligning these metrics.

  • Daily check-ins: on a daily basis, Supply Chain will reach out to any struggling hub on the day before, in order to better identify any operative, supplier and tech issues.

:boost-rocket:

Highlight of the week: when we exclude Makro, we see a strong performance across the country with 10 hubs exceeding a 99% fill rate.

A special congratulations to the UTR_WEST team for achieving a 100% fill rate last week! Keep up the good work!

:muscle:

Reminder: please use the Slack channel #inbound_errors_issues to report any issues related to the Inbound Checker. Your feedback is essential for our continuous improvement.
