2. Add to the restocking list from the Stock Checks

Also starting tomorrow, you will be able to add products to the restocking list from the stock check flow! Simply click on “Ask for restocking”, and the product will be added to the shared restocking list.

[Insight💡] Declining trips in WF app

Based on our Riders' feedback, we've made some changes to the process for declining trips in the WF app.

Now, after an order is assigned, the ‘Decline’ button will be disabled for the first 5 seconds. If the Rider clicks ‘Decline’ after those 5 seconds, they will get a pop-up asking them to confirm their choice.

This will avoid Riders declining trips by accident and will boost acceptance rate!

Note: the changes will be released on iOS on Wednesday, and Android next week. Make sure the Riders have the most recent version of the WF App to see the changes!

[Insight💡] Quinyx timeouts

There have been a lot of Quinyx server timeouts while punching in, such as this one:

Here’s what’s happening:

  • The employee gets a “network error” message while punching out/in.

  • The employee punches in on the Flink webpunch tablet and the punch is properly registered in Quinyx, but won’t go online on the dashboard.

  • The employee punches out on the Flink webpunch tablet and the punch is properly registered in Quinyx, but won’t go offline on the dashboard.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • For any of the cases above, keep trying to punch in/out. The network issue usually resolves by itself after around 5-15 minutes, so trying after some time should work.

  • If they are already punched in, punch them out and back in. This should resolve the problem. If not, try again after a few minutes.

  • In case their shift is over and they can’t punch in anymore, you have 2 options:

    1. Temporarily extend the shift, punch them in and out, and revert the shift back to its previous state in Quinyx.

    2. Create a ticket in #tech_hub_service-nl.

  • For any other problems with punching in, we kindly ask for your patience and to keep trying until it works.

Unfortunately, this problem is coming from Quinyx itself. We’re hoping for a quick recovery 🤞

[Insight💡] Store products in Handling Units where possible

A significant amount of SKUs are being stored outside their designated Handling Units (HUs), despite the facing’s recommendations:

Here’s a reminder of the benefits of storing SKUs in HUs:

  • More efficient restocking: items can be restocked without needing to remove them from HUs, saving time and effort.

  • Simplified inventory counting: counting becomes more straightforward, improving accuracy and efficiency.

  • Improved FIFO adherence: following the (FIFO) principle becomes easier.

  • Easier relocation: moving items to different locations is easier when they are stored in their HUs.

We are currently improving our facings calculation methodology. If you encounter any challenges implementing the facings exactly as suggested in HubOne, please report them using HubAlert.

[Action 🚨] Shelf changes for Hub 3.0 & Hub 2.0

In today's shelf changes, there are some products currently placed on shelf 999X that will be assigned to a new shelf.

Additionally, it may also happen that some products appear as “New listings”, but you might already have them in stock on shelf 999x. Please check there, and in case you can’t find them, that means you haven’t received them yet.

[Action 🚨] Shelf building for XL Hubs 3.0

For all the XL hubs, we will build 10 more racks from D61 to D70, as this will provide more space for August listings.

You can find the corresponding numbers for your hub in your floorplans or shelf mapper.

The estimated time for building three racks is approximately 2.5 hours. You can find the instructions here.

The deadline for this task is Friday, August 2nd.
