 | This is the process of receiving emballage, signing the proof of delivery (POD) and returning emballage with each delivery. During each Lekkerland delivery, the hub receives a number of rolcontainers, rollies, pallets and crates and returns rolcontainers, rollies, pallets and crates. This balance is managed by Lekkerland. At the end of each delivery, the Lekkerland chauffeur needs a signature from someone from Flink. This proof of delivery can only be signed by the Hub Manager or Shift Lead. |
Process
Collect all emballage that needs to go back to Lekkerland. Count all types of emballage and write this down for yourself. Please combine/stack rolcontainers in the correct manner (please check the stacking rolcontainer one pager on Zendesk for the correct way of stacking). Always keep the Flink and Lekkerland rolcontainers separated.
The Lekkerland driver arrives and delivers all rolcontainers and crates designated for that specific hub. The driver counts every type of emballage. This is reported in the proof of delivery by the driver, after which the driver delivers all rolcontainers in the hub.
The Flink employee counts all types of emballage that is incoming.
The driver counts and collects all emballage that the hub wants to send back. This information is added to the system by the Lekkerland driver and presented in the proof of delivery.
At the end of each delivery, the Lekkerland driver will ask for a signature on the proof of delivery, which can only be given by a Shift Lead or Hub Manager after checking if the incoming and outgoing emballage numbers on the POD is correct. Note: if you work in a small hub and you want to return a rolcontainer that you quickly unpacked right after unload, please make sure you count this as received as well al returned.

Why is it important?
We like to emphasize how important it is that the hub actually counts the number of rolcontainers, crates, rollies etc. that are received and sent back to Lekkerland. By signing the proof of delivery, we as Flink agree that Flink will be charged for the difference in emballage. For your understanding, a rolcontainer is worth 100€. Thus it is very important that the documentation done by Lekkerland is accurate. Therefore, the hub must count all rolcontainers/crates and other emballage before Lekkerland arrives. This process won’t take more than 5 minutes. The same is necessary for the incoming emballage. Please count the amount of Lekkerland Rolcontainers, Flink rolcontainers, crates and other emballage. At the end of the delivery, the Hub Manager or Shift Lead must check the administration of the driver on their handheld and sign if the emballage is matching. A step by step description is provided above.
We understand that rolcontainers and crates are used in the hubs for many purposes (organizing back stock, storing rider gear, and so on, and so on), which is not necessarily a problem. However we like to ask all hubs to give all emballage back what is not used.
