This guide describes what the newsletter (also known as the hub newsletter) is, how to access it, and important information regarding the newsletter workflow.
This guide is important for Shift Leads, Ops Associate Plus (OA+), and Hub Managers to understand how the newsletter works and how to use it efficiently.
What is the newsletter?
The newsletter is a weekly report that tells Shift Leads, OA+, the hubs and Hub Managers about the recent updates to programs, tools and processes, as well as other information that is relevant to their daily operations, such as shelf changes, so they are on top of all the updates produced by the headquarters (HQ).
The information shared in the newsletter is of high importance, so we strongly recommend you to read it fully. It's important to do so, so you are aware of any changes that can impact your daily operations.
What does the newsletter look like?
The newsletter is divided into several sections, according to the importance and type of information shared:
Your to-do's this week: actions that you must perform in the current week.
Key updates you can’t miss: priority updates that you must be aware of, such as updates in our apps.
Shelf changes: weekly shelf changes.
These sections are sorted by priority. By reviewing these categories, the hub workforce can apply the information to their daily operations and use the most up-to-date processes.
When and how are the new editions shared?
Every Tuesday, the newsletter is published at 15:00 (3pm) on Zendesk in this section.
HQ shares that the newsletter was published in the Slack channel #nl_all-hub-staff. You can access the newsletter directly by clicking the link in the Slack message.
Additionally, you also receive an email telling you that the newsletter was published. You can access the newsletter directly by clicking the link in the email.
How to access past newsletters
Go to the Newsletter section, and click on the newsletter archive. Here, you will find all the newsletter editions from the previous and the current year:
To access the editions of each month, click on the tile of your interest and look up the newsletter edition you are looking for.
