 | The Emergency Response course is assigned to all Hub Managers, Shift Leads and OPS+. Hub Managers are responsible to ensure all Shift Leads and OPS+ attend the assigned Emergency Response course and do the mandatory e-learning prior to the face to face training. Employees that have successfully completed the course are trained to respond in emergency situations. |
Why is it important?
It is a legal requirement that at least one certified emergency response worker is present on each shift. This means that this worker can recognize possible fire and occupational safety compliance issues and support with implementing safety measures. They assist in fighting fires and facilitate evacuations during emergencies. They also assist in treating various injuries (first-aid) and can perform life-saving actions on a victim such as resuscitation.
Process

The training provider (Feniks Group) sends invitations directly to employees confirming the date and location.
Basic trainees need to do an e-learning that'll take up to 4 hours with a full day face to face course.
After successful completion of the course, certificates are sent directly to the participant and will be visible in the Feniks portal.
Any participants who have failed the course will need to repeat the course again.
Completing the e-learning prior to the training is mandatory.
Please also keep a print out of the BHV certificates of all trained personnel together with your evacuation plan in the hub.
Certificates are valid for 2 years. You can change the status of your BHV in the training portal.
FAQ
Travel expenses for BHV course
Travel expenses incurred when traveling to your BHV training location will be automatically forwarded to the Payroll team, with no action required from you or your manager. Reimbursements will appear on your payslip approximately one month after the expense date.
Please note that parking costs will not be covered. If your training is in Amsterdam, consider parking at the Buitenveldert Hub or, for a more sustainable option, use public transportation!
Reimbursement calculation: the distance from your hub to the training location is multiplied by €0.23 per kilometer.
