Hub Waste Management Guide
This guide explains the correct process for separating and disposing of waste to keep the hub organized, prevent dirt and smells, and ensure smooth garbage collection.

The 3 Bins: How to Separate Waste
Residual Waste
For general, non-recyclable trash. Always use the official PreZero bags.

Paper & Cardboard
For all paper and cardboard materials. Remember to flatten boxes to save space.

Plastic
For clean plastic packaging and materials.

Weekly Process & Bin Placement
Ensure the correct bins are placed in their designated areas (Metal bins outside if allowed, Plastic bins inside).
Make sure bins are accessible for collection on your scheduled pickup day.
If bins are stored indoors, move them outside in time for emptying by the waste management service.

Ordering Official Waste Bags
You must use official PreZero bags for residual waste. To order more, call PreZero with the same contact info. Bags from other suppliers are not allowed.

Special Procedures & Troubleshooting
What to do with Excess Waste
If you have too much waste for your bins, here are your options:
Temporarily store excess dry packaging materials in the hub and dispose of them gradually over the next few pickups.
In exceptional cases, request an extra collection from your property manager.
If waste must be removed urgently, dispose of it at the nearest recycling center.
How to Stack Empty Roll Containers
Select one roll container to be the base. Make sure its side panels are firmly locked in place.
Take apart three other roll containers. Place two side panels upside down on each side of the base container. Place the three container bottoms in the middle with the wheels facing inwards.
Use straps to firmly secure the entire bundle for stability.
Important: A fee is paid per roll container collected, so always fill containers to their maximum capacity to be cost-effective.
How to Dispose of Old Uniforms
If you need to dispose of textiles (such as old Flink jackets), you must cut through the Flink logo on the jacket before placing it in the textile bin.
