Suitable place:
Within the Hub, make sure that all the equipment has a place that is suitable for it and where it can easily be found. Think about cleaning materials being kept in one area, CWS refill items being kept close to the bathroom, and so forth.

No storing items on the floor:
To ensure that we prevent trip and slip hazards or potential pest nestling areas, it is important that all equipment and storage items are stored off the ground. Use shelves, dollies or pallets.

Marked zones:
Marking zones is important to ensure that there is a basic structure within the Hub. These zones (e.g. an inbound zone) are designated for tasks or as storage locations of equipment and should only be used as such. To mark these zones, use the yellow/black tape that you can order from Roy Schulz.

Storage areas for equipment:
​Smaller equipment that does not need its own "zone" should still be stored in a structured way. Use a cabinet or a shelf and label the areas for those things in the shelf itself, where each object belongs. This way, we achieve some order and the equipment can be found quickly.

Return equipment:
Make sure that the equipment is returned to its intended place after use. This applies, for example, to bicycles, as well as the tool box. Put all the equipment back in its original place in the evening, so that the team will find a tidy Hub the next morning and can start immediately.

Cant find the equipment?
If the equipment is not in its designated place, look for it in the Hub or ask your colleagues. This will ensure that it has not disappeared and that you will find it immediately the next time you use it.
If the equipment is indeed missing, enquire with the hub manager to replace the needed items.
