Stock Correction

Icon

  • The stock correction feature gives you the possibility to change the stock or outbound perished/damaged products outside of the triggered stock, fresh and BBD checks.

  • As the triggered checks mentioned previously are the base of our inventory check system, stock correction checks should only be performed in very few cases.

  • Examples could be wrong inbounds of products where the inventory level needs to be adjusted immediately afterwards or products which were damaged while picking and need to be outbounded.

  • Stock correction checks should not be used to perform daily stock checks routines independently from the triggered stock checks (e.g. check all products with stock levels of <5). For daily stock checks, please access them through the respective option in the Inventory tab.

Instructions

  1. Go to the HubOne app, enter the Inventory tab and select “Stock Correction”.

  2. Scan a product or shelf to start a check or select it manually in the search bar.

  3. Count the exact quantity of the product you selected – including the top shelf and backstock.

    1. Take your time to make sure you count the correct amount. If you are unsure about the amount, take the time to do a recount.

  4. Check your counted amount and compare it to the amount which we show in the system.

    1. If the amount is correct, click the pink button “Confirm Stock”.

    2. If there is a mismatch between the physical amount and the amount in the app, recount the products again to make sure that your counted amount is 100% correct and there was nothing missed in the backstock/topshelf.

    3. If the amount in the system is actually incorrect, correct it by picking the correct option relating to why you are making a stock correction. By clicking on the 'i' symbol you can read descriptions of the reasons.
