Hub Ops / New Processes

[ACTION] Confirm Shelf Delivery

  • As mentioned previously, all hubs are getting additional shelves delivered in the coming week(s).

  • Once you receive them, please store them aside in the hub until further instructions. Part of the shelves will be used for UberEats, the rest for the coming shelf reorganization (adding shelf layers).

  • ❗️Please fill in this form once you received the shelves, so we can make sure all hubs have the needed equipment before we continue with the shelf reorganization. Thanks!

[INFO] Hub Alert - Missing SKU & Shelf Number

Lately we are receiving many Missing Shelf Number requests which are actually Missing SKUs. Please note the following flow when submitting a ticket:

  1. If you cannot inbound a product because the SKU is not in the system -> make a Missing SKU ticket and search the product EAN / SKU / Name via the search field. Here ALL Flink products are stored, even if they are not showing up in your inventory.

  2. If you cannot find a product through the Missing SKU search field -> Report as Wrong Delivery

  3. After a product has been added to your system, it takes up to 30min until the shelf number becomes visible. It is not necessary to report a Missing Shelf ticket in this case, after waiting 30min you will see the shelf.

[ACTION] 9th Department Marketplace - Fri 10 Mar

  • The Department Marketplace is now every 2nd Friday of the month - this is an onboarding requirement for newly joined shift leads.

  • For existing shift leads, who have never joined this engaging network event, you are welcome too!

  • Do you want to meet with department leads to see what they are working on, ask questions and network with Flinkers across the country?

  • There will be delicious snacks and cold drinks too!

  • Ask your manager to join and email [email protected]!

        • NOTE: Use the shift type in Quinyx 'Training SL' to not impact UTR. Shift leads can only attend once.

[REMINDER] Onboarding Shifts

🕑 Please find below a reminder regarding Onboarding Shift guidelines:

  • An onboarding shift must last max. 3 hours

  • It must only be used for a person's 1st shift and only training purposes

  • After the 1st shift, hub employees should be assigned to rider and/or ops associate shifts only, even during Probation Period.

💪 The main goal of Onboarding Shifts is to share with our new joiners all information they need to perform their job, helping them to go through systems, apps and trainings they'll use while working at Flink and, most importantly, welcoming them in the best way possible! Let's guarantee we make the most out of it. Via this link you can find the necessary resources on how to provide the best onboarding experience.

🔥 Also coming soon – As of the 1st of March, Onboarding Shifts will be excluded from Punch-Online – in practice, this means that

  • a new-joiner will still be able to book his/her Onboarding Shift in Quinyx and will still be able to punch in and out using Flunch

  • however, after punching in, he/she will not appear Online in the Rider App and will therefore not be able to deliver orders

  • why are we doing this?

  • to ensure that the Onboarding Shift is only used for strict onboarding and learning purposes (as described above)

  • to ensure maximum visibility on worked hours and maximum forecasting/planning accuracy
