Salary and Payslips
Please have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions regarding Salary and Payslips stated below using the following format: Question (Q), Answer (A). In case you feel some of the questions have not been answered, Please fill in the form, which you can find on Zendesk.
Q: Do you pay weekly or monthly?
A: Salaries are paid out weekly for Riders/Ops associates and every 4 weeks for shift leaders. We transfer the salaries on Friday usually before noon.
Q: When am I getting paid?
A: Once the salaries are transferred, the bank will process the payments. Depending on your bank, it could be as early as the same day on Friday but in some cases, it can take up to 2/3 working days before it's processed with your bank. Please wait until Wednesday next week before opening a ticket.
When do I get paid explained
Flink's payroll is processed Weekly*.* This means that every Friday the money is transferred, and you receive a payslip for the worked hours the week before. This does not mean that the money is in your bank account on Friday as it will take the bank two working days to transfer the money. Receiving your payslip will mean that you can expect your salary within the given two working days.
An example, the worked hours of week 1 will be calculated and processed in week 2. The salary will be transferred on Friday and into your bank account within two working days.

Q: I have not received my salary. What can I do?
A: Please check first if you have received a payslip in SuccessFactors. If you have a payslip and your bank account information is on there, the salary has been transferred. It may take a couple of business days before it shows. If it has not arrived by Wednesday the following week or there is no bank account number visible on the payslip, please fill out the following form and Rider-care will assist you further
Q: How do I turn on my tax credit discount?
A: Please fill in the following form to change your tax credit discount and make sure it's dated and signed before sending it to Rider-Care.

A:
We calculate working hours based on your shifts and absences from Quinyx.
Please emphasize recording your shifts and claiming changes daily on Quinyx to avoid delays in payment processing.

Sick Leave policy
When you’re unable to work due to illness, you are required to call your hub before 9 AM. In case you have an early morning shift, call before your shift's starting time.
The hub logs your sickness in Quinyx.
You must call in sick to your hub via a phone call.
If you reach their voicemail, please leave a message.
Notify direct colleagues so they can take over your shift.
Each day that you are ill, you need to repeat this process. Once you’re feeling better, please update your scheduling app so that you’re available to work again.
For this process to work, you will not be able to log a sick leave request yourself in Quinyx.
It is mandatory to call the hub, so your sickness gets logged. If you don't reported your sick leave via phone with the Hub Manager/Shift Lead, no payout will occur for those hours and we will register your absence as a no-show.
Keep the following information in mind
Inform colleagues: let your direct colleagues know about your absence so they can cover your shift.
Availability for questions: please be available between 9 AM and 2 PM for any questions from your HM or the Company Doctor.
Daily reporting: for each day you're sick with a planned shift, repeat the above steps. Failing to do so may result in no payout for those hours and a categorization as no-show.
Returning to work: you have a legal obligation to do your best to return to work promptly. The Company Doctor, De Nieuwe Arts, may reach out to you regarding your sick leave. You are required to respond, answer their questions truthfully, and potentially visit the Nieuwe Arts when requested.
Policy compliance
Non-compliance with the sick leave policy may result in 2 reminders, potentially no-show(s), and subsequently receiving an official warning.
Continued non-compliance may lead to an official warning and a feedback discussion with your manager.
Longer sick leave
If your sick leave extends beyond two weeks, De Nieuwe Arts will discuss the reasons for your absence with you. You are required to provide the necessary medical information for an objective medical opinion.
Support and reintegration
De Nieuwe Arts will offer advice on your reintegration and collaborate with your manager. If needed, the company doctor will contact your manager before the Problem Analysis.
Progress evaluation
De Nieuwe Arts will evaluate the progress of your absence during consultation hours and provide feedback. You and your manager will receive feedback from De Nieuwe Arts about the agreements made during the consultation.
Feeling sick during a shift
If you feel unwell during your shift, inform your Hub Manager or Shift Lead immediately. They can assist in case of an emergency or sickness. You can discuss with them whether it's better to go home or continue working.
Your health and adherence to this policy are crucial. Following these procedures ensures a smooth process during sick leave and supports your well-being.

Absences
We expect you to be present during your scheduled working hours. If you face an emergency that prevents you from coming to work, contact your manager on duty as soon as possible. If you are absent from your scheduled shift, we urge you to find a replacement from our Flink Employee Pool. When you have found your replacement, it is your responsibility that they accept this request. Please make sure you do this via the scheduling tool. Any unreported absences from the replacement will be attributed to the original requester.
Unreported absences
Unauthorized absence or Absent without leave is when an employee doesn't attend work and hasn't given a reason for their absence nor contacted their employer to inform them of their absence.
