🔍 New Training For All Hub Leads: External Inspections & Audits
A brand-new training on handling external inspections, visitors and audits is now live in the Leadership Training Portal. You will find it as a new module under the Health & Safety group.
Inspections can happen without warning, so knowing exactly who to let in, what to show and how to react keeps you and your team on the safe side. It takes only 10 minutes - so grab a quiet moment and tick it off.
✅ To do: every team lead (OA+, SL, HM) to complete this training.
📌 Hang Up The Look Like Flink Posters
Below posters are on their way to all hubs.
Once yours arrive, please hang them somewhere clearly visible - the best spot is where riders gear up, so the reminder lands right before they head out the door.
🚲 Get Your Riders Through The Two New Awareness Trainings
To improve how customers experience our riders — both on the street and at the door — we have created two short rider trainings:
Look Like Flink: rider appearance and being recognisable on the street (gear, helmet & safety, equipment).
You Are the Face of Flink: behaviour at the customer door (greeting, eye contact, handover, goodbye).
Both are already live in the Training section of the WF App, and riders will get them in the WF Newsletter on Thursday. Please make sure the riders in your hub complete both — they take just a few minutes each and can be done on a phone.

Key Updates You Can’t Miss
♻️ Reduce Shadow Waste: €150K Disappeared In June
Shadow waste is stock that leaves the hub without ever being recorded - no sale, no outbound, no correction. In June alone it cost us €150K in the Netherlands. That is stock we paid for, cannot sell, and cannot explain.
Why the push? Unrecorded losses are invisible losses. If an item is never scanned, corrected or re-inbounded, we cannot see where it went — so we cannot fix the cause. Everything below is about making stock movements visible again, not about blame.
What we are focusing on:
SSCC scanning at 100%: every SSCC label gets scanned on arrival. No skipping, no scanning “later”.
Post-inbound checks at 100%: finish the check after every delivery so differences are caught the same day, while they can still be claimed.
Corrections with real feedback: respond to every thread in #alert-net-corrections-nl with clear, complete feedback. At the end of each day a summary is created with all threads that received good-quality feedback and were closed - anything still open is escalated to the next in line.
Re-inbound every cancelled order: cancelled orders belong back in stock. Please focus on 100% re-inbound every single day.
Potential theft: the potential theft view still shows a high share of items going missing, with the usual suspects - energy drinks, snacks and similar. Keep these products in sight and report what you notice.
📌 Golden rule: if stock leaves the shelf and it is not a sale, it needs a record.
Every scan, correction and re-inbound you complete makes the number smaller. Let’s bring June’s €150K down together. 💪
⭐ Coming Next Week: Rider Rating In The WF App
This week we are rolling out the new Rider Rating feature to customers. After an order is delivered, customers can now rate the experience with their rider specifically - not just the order.
This is how it will look in the consumer app:
What changes for riders? From next week, riders will see this feedback themselves in the WF App, so they can tell how they are doing on customer experience.
A rating only appears once a rider has more than 3 ratings, so nobody is judged on a single delivery.
Ratings sync once a day - they are not live, so a new rating may take until the next day to show up.
💡 Stay tuned for more info next week!
Shelf Changes & Delistings
🛒 This Week’s Shelf Changes
At 16:00 today we will post this week’s shelf changes in the folder for your hub size. If you do not find a file for your hub, it means there are no shelf changes for you this week.
Hub 3.0: shelf changes here
Hub 3.1: shelf changes here
Hub 4.0: shelf changes here
nl_rot_west: shelf changes here
nl_utr_zuid: shelf changes here
The changes go live tonight between 01:00 and 07:00, so please move the products to their new locations tonight after closure or first thing tomorrow morning.
🤓 Don’t forget the backstock! When moving products to a new shelf, always check and reposition the backstock on the top shelves too.
Not sure which hub size you are? Read more about the different hub sizes here.
📋 Ticket Processing Update
Shelf changes are implemented once per week. We usually review incoming tickets on Monday and Tuesday, so if you submit a ticket on Wednesday and see no update by Friday, nothing has been overlooked — your ticket is simply queued for the next cycle, because shelf changes and facing adjustments can only be executed once a week. Exceptions are made only for critical or urgent issues.
