Weekly To Do's

🌡️ Hub Temperature Check — 1 minute, please!

As temperatures rise, we want a clearer picture of the conditions in our hubs so we can spot any locations that need extra support.

👉 Please take 1 minute to complete this short form: Hub Temperature Check form.

The form asks about:

  • Temperature rating in your hub

  • Any particularly hot areas

  • Airflow / ventilation rating

Your feedback helps us find hotspots and take action where needed. Thank you! 🙌 — Property Team

🚲 Container & Saddle Bag Count - until End of Week!

Please count your s-containers and saddlebags by the end of this week.

👉 Please fill in your count in this form.

  • Make sure to include all s-containers (fixable & proper ones)

  • Make sure to include all saddle bags (mounted + stored ones)

🍏 Fruit/Veg of the Week: Apples

Last week, 15 customers received perished apples. Let's all refresh the outbound rules for apples so customers only ever receive top quality.

How to quality check like a pro

  • ✅ Top Quality: firm, with a uniform colour for the apple variety — sell it!

  • ⚠️ Rescue level: minor damage or scratches from delivery — outbound via Rescue Bag.

  • ❌ Perished: damaged, browned bruises, flesh browning, torn stems, rough or rotten — outbound via Perished.

Three moments where quality control matters most

  • During Inbound/Check: filter out poor-quality batches when they arrive.

  • During Picking: pickers have the last eyes on the product — verify quality before packing.

  • During Checks: turn the apple bags around to make sure there isn't a bad one hiding inside.

👉 Fresh Check / Rescue Bag guidelines: PDF.

Thanks for keeping standards high — every check counts.

🍓🍇 F&V Leaflet

This week’s leaflet focuses on high rejection rates for white grapes and declining strawberry quality due to hot weather, alongside falling orange and pepper volumes. See more here Week 23.

⚠️ Important Reminder for Hubs: Please ensure to input the Best Before Date (BBD) or production code every time a product is outbound. Over the weekend, we saw a significant increase in outbounds that we cannot claim purely due to missing BBD information.

Key Updates You Can't Miss

📦 New Equipment Types in Transport Equipment Tracking — Live since Friday

Thanks to your feedback, we've made the following adjustments to the Transport Equipment Tracking flow during Inbound:

  • Beer Crates — added

  • Pallets — added

  • Cooling Sleeves (Rollcontainer Hoes) — removed

HubOne equipment tracking types

👉 For crates and pallets you only need to add the returned amount — received items don't have to be registered. Please use "beer crates" for any type of beer crate you return.

🔄 Restocking Improvements — Goes live Wednesday 3 June

Based on your feedback on Restocking V2, two small but helpful adjustments go live tomorrow.

What's new?

  • "Adjust stock" stays available: the button now stays active even after a product has already been restocked.

  • Priority sorting in Restocking: you can now change the sorting in the restocking step between priority and shelf — just like the private and shared lists. If your private list was already sorted by priority, your restocking list will be sorted by priority by default too.

📅 Goes live: Wednesday 3 June

Small change, smoother flow — thanks for flagging it!

📦 Smarter Order Assignment with new OA States - live

Since last Friday, HubOne recognises OA activities in a more granular way, differentiating between Rescue Bag, Restocking, and Inventory Checks. With this, we now assign orders for picking more precisely, based on the exact activity and OA is currently doing. This is not a major change, but rather a refinement of the existing logic.

The priority order for picking assignments is:

  1. Idle

  2. Inventory checks

  3. Rescue bag

  4. Restocking

  5. Inbounding

OAs performing the same activity are then sorted by priority.

ℹ️ Note: The Hub Portal activities screen doesn't show these new states yet — that's coming in a future update.

🚲 Trip Time Difference — A fairer way to measure rider performance (coming next week Wednesday)

A heads-up before it launches: we're introducing Trip Time Difference, a new rider performance metric that replaces Trip on Time Compliance.

Why the change?

Riders and hubs felt the old metric was unfair. It relied on often-inaccurate Google ETAs, making it hard to be on time, and sometimes pushed riders to swipe early just to hit a target — adding pressure while riding.

What's new?

  • End-to-end tracking: performance is now based on the total trip time (from trip offer to hub return) compared to the estimate — individual segments are no longer counted as KPIs.

  • Fairer comparisons: instead of a strict pass/fail for being "on time," performance is compared to the hub average.

  • Calmer, safer riding: the on-time tracker is gone during riding, so riders can focus on the road and the customer.

How will it work?

Trip Time Difference is the difference between the actual trip (measured from trip offer made to swiping returned) compared to the estimate (the Google estimate & hub benchmark.) Below you can see how the Trip Time Difference is made up of different segments.

During the Trip: Removed on Time Trackers and larger buttons

Live Performance visible after each trip and during the shift:

Rider will see Weekly Performance in the Stats Tab:

👉 Read all about it already here.

Grace Period for Rider Tips

Between CW24–25 we will introduce a grace period for rider tip distribution to make sure riders have time to adapt to the new performance metrics. During this time, the tip booster will be paused.

Please find below the upcoming communication to the riders:

What to expect this week

  • More information will be shared in the Hub Manager Monthly tomorrow, Wednesday 3 June.

  • Riders receive the full guide via the Rider EduMe Guide in the WF Newsletter on Thursday, 4 June.

    • Please make sure they are aware and complete the Guide.

    • Completion will be visible in the WF Training Tracker as of Friday.

📅 The release is planned for next week Wednesday.

📦 New Stacking Feedback Channel

Thank you to all NL hubs who have shared your feedback during the stacking test. We really appreciate your on-the-ground observations - they've been invaluable in helping us improve.

As our stacking algorithm moves into a more mature phase, we're expanding the feedback loop to all hubs in both 🇳🇱 NL and 🇩🇪 DE.

📢 Please join the new dedicated channel: #hub-stacking-feedback

This channel replaces the previous #stacking-test-q2-2026-nl (now closed) and is the go-to place for any general feedback you have about stacking - whether something looks off, unusual, or just worth flagging for continuous improvement.

⚠️ Got an urgent issue that needs immediate help?

Please continue to report those in #tech_hub_service-nl as usual - that channel remains your first stop for anything time-sensitive.

Thanks again for your patience and for helping us build a better stacking system together! 🙌

Shelf Changes & Delistings

June Delistings

The delisting list for June can be found in the file Delistings W22 NL.

Shelf Changes

If you don't find your file in the folder, there are no shelf changes for your hub. The lists are published at 16:00 today, so please check around that time.

The changes go live tonight between 01:00 and 07:00, so please move products to their new locations tonight after closure or tomorrow morning.

🤓 Don't forget the backstock! When moving products to their new shelf, always check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves too.

Read more about the different hub sizes here.

Ticket processing update

Shelf changes are implemented only once per week. We typically review incoming tickets on Monday and Tuesday. So if you submit a ticket on Wednesday and don't see an update by Friday, it's not an oversight — the ticket is simply queued for the next processing cycle, as shelf changes and facing adjustments can only be executed once a week. Exceptions are made only for critical or urgent issues.
