Flink Rescue bags: Go Live - 10.4.25

We have a very exciting update to inform you about!

Starting Thursday, we will stop using TGTG and introduce the in-house Flink Rescue Bag!

This way, we are able to offer our customers discounted products alongside other products delivered to their door, and further utilize our waste and increase sales.

Important to know:

  • We will have two new SKUs:

    • Flink Rescue Bag (equals TGTG Surprise Bag)

    • Rescue Bag Bakery (equals TGTG Bakery Bag)

  • Bags will have stickers (these should have been delivered to all hubs this week)

  • Use the Rescue Bag Builder in HubOne (former TGTG Assistant) to create and inbound the bags

  • You must finish building bags in the Rescue Bag Builder for them to update the stock in the system.

👉 Please check out the detailed presentation: Here

👉 There is a intro meeting planned: 9.4.25 @ 09:00 please make sure to attend!

And check out the Edume Rescue Bag Flow Guide in your training section of the WF App very soon!

Cycle integration: Go Live - 9.4.25 @09:30

We have a new process to roll out to all hubs, involving how cycle closes damage reports

If your cycle mechanic sets a damage report (DR) to ‘fixed’ from their side, the damage report will be marked as fixed and the bike set to operational in the Hub Portal; if cycle cancels the ticket the bike will show as archived by Cycle.

Make sure to check that the cycle mechanic has completed the open tickets because only then will the automation mark the bike as in operation in the portal.

The recently added update to Hub Portal of the column in the Fleet tool ‘archived by’ indicates if a damage report was archived by Flink or by Cycle.

There is also a Slack bot that will show which bikes have had updated tickets

What you need to do:

  • Please make sure to still do a visible check of the bikes after the mechanic leaves. This will be especially important now.

  • If the damage is still there, please open a new damage report.

Stock Change Logs searchable by employee ID

We have a small update for the stock change logs within the hub portal. It's now possible to search them by the employee ID.

Rider Internet calls - Go Live: 9.4.25 @ 09:30

A small but important update for riders and how they call the customers.

What you need to know:

  • Calls will be via the Internet instead of a normal phone, which should work better and make it easier to contact customers.

  • Internet calls are free of charge for the rider.

  • In case it doesn't work, there is still the option via normal phone.

Riders need to update the app to the latest version

Please encourage Riders to use the call button and try it out!

Daily Routine Sheet Update

Following the results of the recent survey aimed at understanding the usage of the daily routine sheet, it was found that the majority of respondents no longer use it. As a result, the sheet will be discontinued. This has been aligned with Local country Ops.

Refresher Corrections & Outbounds

In the coming period, we will have an increased focus on shadow waste and inventory (in-)accuracy.

Step 1 to improve on both these topics is to make sure we keep our inventory up to date with the correct reasons.

Please find a refresher with the explanations for corrections & outbounds (& when to use them) here.

Also, an Edume Guide will be released in the near future for all staff to complete.

The deadline for returning the rolcontainers is the end of this week, 12.4.25

☀️Summer Readiness

We have created an overview with all topics related to summer readiness for the hubs. These include Property and equipment topics. You can see the progress of topics for each hub in this sheet.

To gather the last data for equipment topics, we ask you to fill in this quick form before the 11th of April.

We are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that the temperatures inside all hubs remain stable during the summer heat.

Feel free to reach out to Marina Tirado Martín for any questions regarding property topics or Navdeep Sandhu for equipment topics.

Enjoy the summer

Supply Chain Updates

Bananas, a bundle of 5

We sell bananas per 5. In some cases, it happens that the bananas are not delivered per 5 in the box. You can always deliver 5 bananas, even if they are not bundled together as 5. Then just merge the bananas so it's sellable, and don't outbound.

Dunkin Donuts labels

Recently, the outbound units of Dunkin Donuts products that were outbound as “delivery damaged” increased. After reaching out to a few hubs, it appears that there were label issues. We were not aware of this, and therefore, it was not reported to the supplier.
We are therefore unnecessarily missing sales + waste. Can you flag label issues via a hub alert ticket -> delivery issues so we can solve the issue.

🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!

Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
