[INFO] NEW: Policy for working during hot weather (>25 degrees)
To ensure we take care of our people and ensure an environment which is enjoyable over summer time across hubs consistently:
Ensure sufficient cold water is available in the hub & encourage employees to hydrate often.
Wear airy cloth - the Flink t-shirt. Shorts that are representative are allowed
Ensure sunscreen is available & encourage riders to use this (order via Amazon on Coupa)
Pay close attention no one is overheated and allow for breaks if necessary
If the hub gets above 27 degrees & the ventilation or air conditioner is not working: contact your CM to discuss the closure of hub
Employees can be asked to work in a nearby hub
In case of medical issues, do contact your CM immediately
ℹ️ See more about it here.

[INFO] Weekly Stats Communicated to Riders
In the Workforce app, Riders will start getting a summary of their statistics from that week if they worked it.
ℹ️ Here is more information about the metrics that we share, a breakdown of how we calculate them, and some advice on how riders can improve.
[INFO] We are testing planned orders
Some customers will be able to schedule orders to be delivered at a specific time window on the same day. You will not notice the difference so the order will be picked and delivered as usual.
We started testing 'planned Orders' in an A/B test. That means 50% of our customers have the possibility to see the 'planned Orders' feature, while for the other 50% the app view remains as usual. Note that customers can only place planned orders if there are enough riders planned for the day. In the image below, you can see the customer view when there are free 'planned Order' slots available.

[INFO] HOM Quiz Revamped
Based on your feedback, we’ve updated the Hub Operating Model or HOM quiz. It has been developed to refresh knowledge for hub managers and shift leads on core processes/updates implemented in the past quarter and to help us track where learning opportunities are required.
You will receive the link to the course by email with a request to complete the quiz by 24 July.

[ACTION] Choosing correct cost center when placing an order for paper bags
Please remember that there are separate budgets for paper bags so that you do not exhaust your budgets for hub supplies when ordering the bags. From default, your cost center is 150 (Country Ops), which you need to update to 241 (Paper bags), so that a separate budget dedicated for the bags is applied. If you do not do it, your budget for hub supplies will be exceeded and your requests will escalate to the budget owners Ronald Kellner/Kevin Miler. You can update the cost center by clicking on the magnifying glass on the requisition item line.

Since Simona and Asti left the company and the pilot roll out of EduMe, there will be a change in responsibilities.
Pieter van Tongeren will be responsible for the hubs of Arjen Stres
Nelson Keijzer will be responsible for the hubs of Marlon Muler
