How to read my annual statement

breakdown of the components:

    • Wage: This is the portion of your income that is subject to healthcare insurance contributions.

    • Employer Contribution: This is the amount of money your employer pays towards your healthcare insurance.

    • Employee Contribution: This is the portion of your healthcare insurance that you, as the employee, are responsible for paying. It's usually deducted from your paycheck.

    • Employee Contribution (if separate): Sometimes, there might be a separate line for employee contributions. This would represent any additional payments or contributions you make towards your healthcare insurance beyond what your employer deducts from your paycheck.

Taxable Wage: This is the portion of your earnings that are subject to taxation. It's the amount of money you've earned at your job that the government can tax.

Deducted Wage Tax: This is the amount of tax taken out of your paycheck by your employer before you receive it. It's the money your employer withholds on behalf of the government for income taxes.

Applied Employment Rebate: This is a refund or reduction in the amount of tax you owe, typically given as an incentive by the government to encourage employment. It's like a discount on the taxes you owe because you're working.

Last Applied Tax Table: This refers to the tax rates and brackets used to calculate how much tax you owe based on your income. The "last applied" part means it's the most recent tax table used for your calculations.

Wage Tax Reduction Applied: This is any reduction or adjustment made to the amount of tax you owe based on specific factors. It could be due to deductions, credits, or any other tax breaks you're eligible for.
