Shift starts at 13:00 PM

While You Are Sick

Inform your colleagues

Let your colleagues know about your absence so they are aware your shift may need coverage.

Stay reachable

You must remain reachable between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM for possible contact from:

• your Hub Manager
• Workforce Support
• the company doctor (De Nieuwe Arts)

Reporting sick for multiple days

If you remain sick and have another scheduled shift, you must report sick again for that shift.
Failing to comply with the sick reporting protocol may lead to a warning and/or non-payment of salary.

If You Become Sick During a Shift

If you feel unwell while working, immediately inform your Hub Manager or Hub Leadership.

Together you will decide whether it is better for you to:

• continue working
• go home due to illness

Contact With the Company Doctor

During sick leave, the company doctor, De Nieuwe Arts, may contact you.

You must:

• respond to their communication
• answer their questions truthfully
• attend appointments if requested

Longer Sick Leave

If your illness lasts longer than two weeks, the company doctor may assess your situation and discuss the next steps.

They may also provide advice about reintegration and returning to work.

Policy Compliance

Employees must follow Flink’s sick leave reporting and control procedures.

Failure to follow these procedures may result in:

• an official warning
• possible impact on sick pay
• further disciplinary action if non-compliance continues

If you have questions about this process, please contact your Hub Manager.
