If you find yourself unexpectedly unable to come in for a scheduled shift, please follow these guidelines:
Contact Your Hub Manager or Shift Lead Promptly: It's crucial to reach out to your Hub Manager or Shift Lead as soon as possible. Make sure to call the hub to inform them of your absence and provide an explanation for the reason.
No-Show Consequences: Failing to show up for a shift or canceling it on the same day without a 'valid' reason will result in a no-show registration. This, in turn, will lead to the issuance of an official warning.
Definition of 'Unexpectedly': In this context, 'unexpectedly' means situations like a sudden family bereavement on the same day, a medical emergency, or similar critical matters. If the reason for your absence is not serious or valid, you will still receive an official warning for not showing up for your shift.
