New In-Order Flyer with the barcode for Prime Eligible Customers ONLY

Untitled presentation (5).png

Starting this week, all hubs will begin receiving flyers for offline distribution via order bags. Please note the following important updates:

🆕 This flyer includes a barcode, which enables us to:

  • Target only Prime-eligible customers

  • Track how many flyers are distributed

📲 Picking Flow:

  • You will see this flyer in the picking flow only if the customer is eligible to receive one. You will need to scan the barcode on the front to add it to the bag.

  • Please do not add this flyer to any order unless it appears in the picking flow.

📥 Inbound Instructions:

  • (For now) Inbound all flyers to Shelf 999X

  • Each batch contains 500 flyers. Here is how many flyers each hub was supposed to receive. You can use it for reference but ideally count by the number of batches you received irl (e.g., 3 batches = 1500 flyers).

Thank you for your cooperation and support. We’re looking forward to seeing the results of this improved and more targeted distribution! 💝

Bike Swap: Rollout of the 20FIFTY-LTX is delayed!

  • The rollout is delayed by approximately one week! The plan has been adjusted accordingly.

  • The next phase of the Bike swap is starting. This will not only renew our fleet but also make it more efficient and robust.

  • All hubs currently using bikes from CYCLE are affected: all Radrunner and Henry I will be replaced with the 20FIFTY-LTX. There will also be some bike relocations between hubs (e.g., to reduce the number of standard 20FIFTYs).

  • You can find the full timeline and more information in this GSheet: 2025 – 20FIFTY-LTX Rollout.

  • Unfortunately, the rollout is delayed by around a week, as we received notice after today’s huddle that the bike boxes are stuck in customs. The timeline has already been updated. Please check when the bikes in your hub will be swapped.

  • We will share more details, such as special tasks, about a week before the swap.

  • Please make sure to be present at your hub on the day of the swap to ensure that everything is properly and fully documented.

  • CYCLE will handle the installation of the bike equipment.

Refresher: Pests

Where food is stored, there’s always some risk of pests. That’s why it’s important to follow Flink’s internal workflows to spot and fix problems early.

I. What pests need to be reported to HQ?

🐀 Rodents (e.g., rats and mice)
🪳 Crawling bugs (e.g., cockroaches, ants, spiders, beetles)
🪰 Flying insects (e.g., moths, fruit flies, wasps)

II. What to do if you see new or ongoing pest issues?

🚨 Create a Pest problem ticket
🧼 Keep the hub clean
🧹 Create Cleaning tickets🚪 Keep doors closed as much as possible. Put up this sign.
🪤 Be mindful with pest control equipment. Put up this sign.
🕳 Report pest-enhancing building issues (holes, cracks, etc.) via repair Tickets

III. What to keep in mind when writing tickets?

📷 Give a clear description with photos and the exact location
🎫 For ongoing pests, damage, or hygiene issues: write tickets daily (at least 1x per week)
❗️ If no action is taken, escalate in the Slack channel

Workforce Updates

_________________________________

Expected longer reply times due to absences

  • In Week 19 Workforce Support team has high number of planned and unplanned absences. We are working to get back to your and employees request as fast possible considering current resources.

  • To help us to help you, please ensure that escalations are created correctly and only for urgent requests and not escalate your own requests. Ticket IDs are mandatory when escalating a case. Additionally, please use the appropriate escalation form for WFS-related requests. This allows us to prioritize your request effectively. ill slow down our response time for more urgent cases and create double work.

Working students shifts during the same week like absences

  • Please do not over-schedule employees with Working Student or Mini Job employment types in the same week as their absences (such as vacation or sickness).

  • As a reminder, if they meet their contractual hours by working during the same week as their absence, it will impact their absence pay. We understand that employees might request additional hours in the same week as an absence; however, please remember that this can affect their vacation or sick pay. We must ensure that employees are paid according to their contractual hours consistently.

Shelf changes

_________________________________

[1.0 + 3.0 Hubs] Shelf Changes

Please try accessing the link using hub’s goflink account. Access requests using private mail addresses will be declined.

In the google drive folder you will find the G-sheet files for all the hubs that are affected in the shelf change.

Please only follow the ones that have exactly the same naming of your hubs and also be careful with following the same hub code while downloading the files.

Please find the file here

Some notes on the sheets:

  • The sheets are, as mentioned above, Hub specific. So only the sheet named with your hub code is valid for your hub.

  • "SKU" you can find the SKU which needs to be moved to another shelf space.

  • "oldShelf" - 4th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, we just assigned this product to your Hub, so please just store it in the shelf mentioned in "new shelf".

  • "newShelf" - 5th column: If the cell is empty or has 999X, the product has been delisted in your hub.

  • if both "shelf" and "newShelf" have a shelf number, it's a normal shelf change.

  • The changes will go live tonight between 01 am and 07 am, please reorder the products tonight/ tomorrow morning.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Muhammad Al Zabir Rakin.

Thank you!
