Newsletter

This guide describes what is the newsletter (also known as hub newsletter), how to access the newsletter, and important information regarding the newsletter workflow.

This guide is important for Shift Leads, OA+ and Hub Managers, so they can understand how the newsletter works and how to use it more efficiently.

What is the newsletter?

The newsletter is a weekly report that tells Shift Leads, OA+, the hubs and Hub Managers about the recent updates to programs, tools and processes, as well as other information that is relevant to their daily operations, such as shelf changes, so they are on top of all the updates produced by the headquarters (HQ).

The information shared in the newsletter is of high importance, so we strongly recommend you to read it fully. It's important to do so, so you are aware of any changes that can impact your daily operations.

What does the newsletter look like?

The newsletter is divided into several sections, according to the importance and type of information shared:

  1. Your to-do's this week: actions that you must perform in the current week.

  2. Key updates you can’t miss: priority updates that you must be aware of, such as updates in our apps, payroll updates, and more.

    1. Upcoming for you: sub-section with things we’re working on that are sure to be launched soon. This section may not be published every week, depending on the amount of updates.

  3. Weekly insights: other updates with less priority, such as launch updates, football tournaments, among others.

  4. Promotions and samples: current promotions and samples.

  5. Shelf changes: weekly shelf changes.

These sections are sorted by priority. By reading all these categories, the hub workforce can successfully apply the information to their daily operations, and use the most updated processes.

Each content block has a title, a body, and helpful links at the bottom. The body gives you all the context you need, such as the what, when, how, and why. Depending on the subject, you'll also see instructions. At the bottom, in bold, you'll have the links for the Hub Wiki pages that address the topic in depth, as well as support channels.

When and how are the new editions shared?

  1. Every Tuesday, the newsletter is published at 18:00 (6pm) on Zendesk in this section.

  2. HQ shares that the newsletter was published in the channels #de_ops_ and #de_ops_leads. You can access the newsletter directly by clicking the link in the Slack message.

    1. You may only have access to one of these channels, depending on your position.

  3. Additionally, you also receive an email telling you that the newsletter was published. You can access the newsletter directly by clicking the link in the email.
