Welcome to the user guide for the Workforce App. The Workforce App is the app that Riders use for their daily activities, including accepting and delivering orders, viewing their payslips, claiming gear, etc.
This guide provides Riders with an overview of all the features and instructions on how to use them, from setting up the app, to starting your shift, making deliveries, changing and viewing their personal and payment info, their equipment, stats and more.
Setting up the app
How to install the app
On your phone, access the app store/play store.
Type in Flink workforce.
Select Install to install the app.
How to log in on the app
You will receive an email from Flink with your credentials. Copy/memorize the credentials.
Open the Workforce App.
Enter the credentials on the app.
Tap Login.
Starting your shift and accepting trips
How to punch in
Internal employees:
To go online in the Workforce app, punch in first on Flunch.
You'll have 5 minutes to get ready before getting trip offers.
If you’re ready early:
Select Home.
Swipe Slide to start shift.
External employees:
Select Home.
Tap Go online.
Important:
Make sure your notifications are turned on and that you allowed all requested permissions, like location tracking, in order to be offered trips.
How to assign yourself a vehicle
After punching in, go in the WF app and tap Get started.
Select an available vehicle from the list.
Tap Receive trips.
Note:
If you wish to exchange vehicles, tap Swap vehicles instead.
If they are temporarily offline:
Open the WF app, and on the bottom row, tap Vehicles.
Tap Choose a vehicle and proceed with steps 2 and 3 of the previous flow.
How to accept and start trips
Important:
New trips are also offered via pop-up notifications on the app. You can tap on them and accept them there.
After accepting the trip, you see:
The customer’s order number.
Their name (if no container ID is available).
The IDs from the containers you need to take with you.
The number/shelves where the Ops Associates placed the containers.
Take the container(s) assigned to you and mount them on the bike.
Slide the toggle Slide to confirm.
The next screen shows you:
A map to navigate to the client's coordinates.
A sheet you can pull up to see:
The name and address of the customer.
The order number.
Any additional notes the customer has provided for the delivery.
The time you're taking to reach the customer:
Ride to the customer to deliver the order.
Delivery process
How to lock/unlock your bike
If you have a bluetooth lock:
Locking the bike
On the top-right corner, select the bike icon.
Important:
In the Home tab, the button is at the bottom.
Once in the bike's file, select Unlocked to lock the bike.
The button changes to Locked.
Unlocking the bike
On the top-right corner, select the bike icon.
Once in the bike's file, select Locked to unlock the bike.
The button changes to Unlocked.
Important:
The slider may sometimes not change status or appear only as Unlocked. You can still lock and unlock your bike as usual.
If your bike has a physical lock:
Lock or unlock the bike as per usual with a manual lock.

How to see your trip history
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Select Trip history.
Select the week of your interest.
You now are able to see all the trips you performed that week.
Changing your personal information
How to change your personal information
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to My account.
Select the blue header with your personal information.
You see your personal information, such as your email, phone number, password, address, social security number, availability, etc.
Apply changes to your personal information.
Select Save changes to save the changes.
Accessing your contract and payment information
Contract information
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to My account.
Select My contract.
Here you find information about your contract, such as the start and end date, probation period end, notice period, working hours per contract and the hub you are in.
Important:
Only WFS (Workforce Support) can make any changes.
Payment details
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to My account.
Select Payment details.
Changing your payment details
Select any field and enter the new information.
Select Save changes to save the changes.
Important:
If you change bank accounts, make sure the new one complies with SEPA.
Payslips
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to My account.
Select Payslips.
Under Select a payslip, look up the month of the payslip you're interested in.
Downloading your payslips
Reporting a missing payslip
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Payslips & salary.
Select Get your payslip.
Select I cannot find a payslip.
To start the report, select Continue.
Tips
On the bottom menu, select Tips.
You see a breakdown of the tips you’ve received in the present day, week, month and since the beginning.
Fixing issues with tips
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Payslips & salary.
Select Tips.
Select I did not receive my tips.
To start the report, select Continue.
Managing your trainings
How to view your trainings
This section provides an overview of all EduMe courses assigned to you, including their completion statuses. All new joiners must be referred to this tab to complete their onboardings. To access it:
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Select Trainings.
If you spot any wrong completion statuses, report them here.
Accessing your stats
How to access your stats
Performance stats
On the bottom menu, select Stats.
Alternatively, go to the Hamburger menu > Stats.
Choose a week from the past 3 months or the previous day.
Note: the current week’s data is updated from the beginning of the week until the last refresh.
Riders and OAs can see their performance stats.
Compliance stats
On the same screen, choose a week from the past 3 months.
Scroll down to your compliance stats.
Stats shown
Riders' performance stats: deliveries per online hour, acceptance rate, average time at customer, trips on time compliance.
Riders' compliance stats: unexcused no-shows, pending no-shows, late shifts, availability per contracted hours.
Riders who take over Ops Associate tasks can also see the stats associated with that role. To do so:
Select the Rider button.
The screen automatically changes to your Ops Associate stats.
To return to the Rider stats, select the Ops Associate button.
Ops Associates' performance stats: picking time per item, post-delivery issue rate.
Ops Associates' compliance stats: unexcused no-shows, pending no-shows, late shifts, availability per contracted hours.
All stats are clickable. Once you click on any of them, you can see how you performed during the selected time period compared to your hub peers. You can see the hub average, the top performer, and tips to maintain or improve your performance:

Managing your equipment
How to order your equipment
You become eligible to order your equipment after completing 3 shifts. To do so:
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Select Equipment.
Depending on the season, select the winter or summer bundle of equipment.
Select Request.
Select your size preference.
Select Next.
Double check your order.
Select Confirm.
Your order will be automatically processed and sent to your hub.
How to claim your equipment
Your equipment should arrive at your hub within 3-7 business days.
Once it arrives, your Hub Manager or Shift Lead hands you the equipment.
Try on the equipment.
If everything is good, you must claim the equipment:
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Select Equipment.
Select the equipment bundle.
Select Claim.
In the Order claimed pop-up, select Done.
How to reject/re-order your equipment
When you try on the equipment and there is an issue with it, you must reject it and re-order:
On the top-left corner, go to the hamburger menu.
Select Equipment.
Select the equipment bundle.
Select Reject.
Choose the reason.
Select Submit.
Re-order the equipment by following the procedure here.
Equipment deposit
We implemented an equipment deposit to encourage you to take good care of your gear. After you receive your equipment, we withdraw the deposit from your next salary.
How to get the equipment deposit back
Hand in your termination notice.
Return your summer and/or winter jacket to your Hub Manager/Shift Lead before your exit date.
You may keep items such as t-shirts, gloves and scarves.
Your Hub Manager/Shift Lead confirm that you've returned your jacket(s) via the Hub Portal.
The confirmation is forwarded to our Payroll Team and you receive your deposit back in full with your final salary.
Important:
If you don't return your Flink jacket before your exit date, your deposit is at risk of being kept by us.
Support section
In this section, you are able to perform several requests and reports related to sick leaves, accidents, salary, shifts and important documents. You can also find information related to personal information changes, tips, schedules and more. Access it on the top-left hamburger menu > Support > Get Help.
How to submit and request documents
Here, you can request documents such as a resignation confirmation, employment certificate, missing payslips, and more.
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Profile & documents.
Select Documents.
To request documents, select Request documents. To submit documents, select Submit document.
Select the type of document you want.
You can also select Other document if you want to request another document.
How to report insufficient shifts
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Shifts & scheduling.
Select I didn't get enough shifts.
Select Continue to start the report.
How to report salary issues
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Payslip & salary.
Select My salary is not correct.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to report an issue with the Flink employee discount
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Payslip & salary.
Select Employee voucher.
Select My discount is not working.
To start the report, select Continue.
How to request sick leave
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Absence.
Select Request sick leave.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to report an accident
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Accidents & reimbursement.
Select Report an accident.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to request a reimbursement for a broken phone
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Accidents & reimbursement.
Select Reimbursement.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to report a grievance
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Grievances & warnings.
Select Report a grievance.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to dispute a warning
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Grievances & warnings.
Select Warning.
Follow the process on the screen.
How to submit my resignation
On the top-left, go to the hamburger menu.
Go to Support > Get Help.
Go to Contract.
Select Submit resignation.
