New Customer Gifts

Sometimes we have gifts for new customers, for instance if a Hub is new or during a holiday season like Christmas or Easter. They are normally small items which are packed and sent with the order. Important to note that when we have them, they are only for customers which are marked as new customers in the HubOne app!

Instructions

  1. Hub and/or Hub Manager is notified over Slack about an upcoming New Customer Gift (NCG) initiative.

  2. NCGs are shipped and received in the Hub.

  3. The Hub Manager confirms over Slack that the NCGs have arrived.

  4. Wait for the confirmation from Marketing to start giving them away.

  5. Prepare the NCGs:

    1. Find a place to leave a box with the gifts and, if applicable, the accompanying marketing flyer in the picking station at the start of the picking path.

    2. Place a sticker on the NCGs indicating that they are a gift that is supposed to come with the order. This is so the customer doesn’t think it was sent by mistake.

  6. When an order comes, and is marked as coming from a “New Customer” on the acceptance screen of the HubOne app, place an NCG and its accompanying flyer in the shopping bag.

  7. Pick the rest of the order as usual.

  8. Hand over the order to the person responsible for the next stage of the process.

Go the extra mile for it.
