Freshness First: Help us make our Freshness Campaign a Success
Today we started our big Freshness Campaign centred on our Freshness Guarantee. While Marketing is bringing this message to our customers, the real success of this campaign rests in your hands.
How You Can Make the Campaign a Success
To earn our customersā trust and prevent them from churning, every step of our operation, from inbound, checks, picking & packing to the final delivery, must be flawless.
Strict Inbound Checks: Catch quality issues the moment they arrive at the hub (Outbound during Inbound via HubOne)
Proper Storage: Ensure F&V are stored correctly (e.g. Bananas in crates)
Daily Fresh Checks: Perform these accurately and carefully every single day
Pick with Purpose: Always inspect item quality during the picking process to reduce perished items reaching the customer.
Use Fruit Paper Bags: Loose fruit stays safe in transport and arrives in better condition for the customer, making them feel we handled their order with care.
š Make sure you have the Fresh Check Guides printed hanging in the hub - everyone should know it!
š Ensure your OAs complete the new Freshness Refresher Guide in EduMe š² - going live tomorrow

āļø Summer is coming ā letās prepare our hubs!
With the warmer days approaching, we want to make sure all hubs are ready to handle higher temperatures. Please take a moment to check the silicone flaps in your hub. These flaps play an important role in preventing warm air from entering and help keep the internal temperature stable.
š§ Are flaps missing, damaged, or worn out? Please report this as soon as possible.
š© If replacements are needed, hubs can contact Justin Nijman to arrange new flaps.
Letās keep our hubs cool and running smoothly this summer! šŖš”ļø
PreZero Missed Pickup Workflow
Last week, a new workflow was released to report missed PreZero pickups
The property team often gets separate messages, which makes it hard to track and document properly.
Please use the workflow whenever a pickup is missed.
Submissions are logged and sent directly to PreZero, so action can be taken immediately.
Missed pickups happen quite often, so please make sure to record them in the workflow.
š„š«šFruit & Veg Leaflet This Week
This week's Fruit & Vegetables leaflet highlights quality concerns for kiwi and red peppers due to shriveling and mold, alongside forecasted shortages for strawberries and cauliflowers. See more here Week 15.

š£ The 2026 Easter Rescue Bag! - GoLive 12 Apr
Get ready! As Easter approaches, weāre launching a special initiative to bring extra value to our customers while keeping our inventory moving. Starting April 13th, the Easter Rescue Bag goes live!
These bags are designed to give customers a delicious "best of" selection of our Easter range at a great price. Here is everything you need to know to get your hub ready.
Timeline
Start Building Bags: April 12th
Customer App Launch: April 13th
Duration: Continue creating and selling bags until the specific Easter SKUs are depleted.
How to Pack the Bag Bag?
We are focusing on our core Easter favourites: use only products left from the below list.
When packing, the goal is variety. A customer should feel like theyāve hit the Easter jackpot!
š The Easter SKU List
Please use only the following items for the Rescue Bags:
SKU | Product Name |
134202919 | G'woon Paaseitjes melk (200g) |

131351057 | Merba Pasen CrĆØme Sprits (175g) |
Quality Check: Ensure that fragile items like the CrĆØme Sprits and Paasgebak are placed on top or handled carefully so they arrive at the customer in perfect condition.
Variety: Ensure every bag has a diverse mix. Try not to put more than two identical SKUs in one bag.
Balance smaller treats like the Paashaas (60g) with heavier favourites like the G'woon Paasgebak (260g) or the Amandelstaaf (250g).
Try to include at least two different flavors of Paaseitjes (e.g., Melk Karamel Zeezout paired with Wit or Stroopwafel) to give customers a full tasting experience.
Stickers: Please print off the Rescue Bag Easter design and attach to the shelf you store the bags on so it can be scanned when picking. You can also print off more and attach them to the bags or write on the bags.
Letās make this the best Easter Saving yet for our customers!
š”ļø Creating a Safe Workspace: Welcome to Our New Trust Persons!
A safe and respectful work environment is our top priority. To ensure everyone has the support they need, we provide Trust Persons, independent, confidential guides who are here to listen, advise, and support you through issues related to undesirable behavior or integrity concerns.
We are thrilled to welcome two new Trust Persons to the team:
Kotryna MarcinkutÄ ā Shift Lead: Den Haag Zuid
Ayshen Orak ā Hub Manager: Zoetermeer
When to Contact a Trust Person
You should reach out if you experience or witness undesirable behavior or integrity concerns. This includes:
(Sexual) Harassment: Unwanted jokes, touching, or inappropriate remarks.
Discrimination: Unfair treatment based on gender, ethnicity, age, religion, disability, etc.
Bullying or Aggression: Repeated negative behavior, intimidation, or physical/verbal abuse.
Conflict of Interest: Situations where professional judgment may be compromised.
Abuse of Position: Misuse of authority or resources for personal gain.
š Example: If a colleague repeatedly makes offensive comments despite you asking them to stop, and your manager dismisses your concern, you should contact a Trust Person.
When NOT to Contact a Trust Person
Trust Persons are here for serious workplace behavior and integrity issues. They are not the right contact for:
Regular work disagreements, scheduling conflicts, or standard performance discussions.
Questions about salary, holidays, or contract changes (please contact your Manager or Rider Care for these).
Anonymous complaints where you are unwilling to discuss the situation further.
How to Approach Your Trust Person
If you need support, you are in full control of the process. The Trust Person will never act without your explicit consent.
Select a Contact: Pick a Trust Person who is outside of your region to ensure neutrality.
Send an Email: Briefly outline the situation and leave your contact details. To keep communication centralized, only message one Trust Person at a time (please do not CC multiple advisors).
Await Response: You will be contacted within 2 working days to schedule a confidential meeting (in person or online).
The Meeting: You will be listened to in a non-judgmental way. Your Trust Person will help you explore your options, whether that means talking to the person involved, seeking help from People/Management, or filing a formal complaint. You decide the next steps.
š Important Resources
We have updated our internal resources. Please review the full policy and print out the new poster and hang in the hub!

Please Note: Shelf Change Output Update
From now on, all shelf changes related to mutated SKUs will be listed at the bottom of the shelf change file. Mutated SKUs will be assigned to a different shelf, and the file will explicitly specify the new location. If a mutated SKU has an introduction date later than the current date, the item will be shaded grey (check the image below); otherwise, it will not be shaded.

Ticket Processing Update
Shelf changes are implemented only once per week. Typically, we review incoming tickets on Monday and Tuesday.
Therefore, if you submit a ticket on Wednesday and do not see an update by Friday, please note that it is not due to an oversight. The ticket is simply queued for the next processing cycle, as shelf changes and facings adjustments can only be executed once a week.
Exceptions are made only in cases of critical or urgent issues.
